Remarks :
The admission process was smooth but complex in nature students have to be very careful while filling their choices while counseling. Since I have a better rank so I didn't have to think that much and I got this seat in the first round itself.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Cse is one of the premier courses that are being offered to an Indian BTech student and it also provides a hell lot of opportunities to the students in different fields, as the demand if IT sector is booming this branch is also in its prime.
Internships Opportunities :
I am still in the 2nd year so I haven't done any internship yet. Coding competitions like Devjam and hacke6 are flagship coding events of our college and students get a chance to learn new tech stacks by participating in those events which also helps to build a good resume.
Placement Experience :
I want to grab good placement opportunities by our college's placement drive as it's best among all NITs then I have planned to pursue MBA after getting a fair experience in the corporate world. The placement for the CSE branch is almost 100% and it's more than average in another branch too.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
If you are below 1 lakh of income then you will have a full waive of your fees but still up scholarships are there to help you with your financial needs. There are several other scholarships based on merit.
Campus Life :
Clubs are the worst part of the college there is a stubborn hierarchy in the clubs, still being in these clubs is a privilege by itself. I am a member of the Arts Club, oration club and have been an active member of the gnosis quizzing club.
Hostel Facilities :
First-year hostels are like 5star rooms you start with such but then in your 2nd year, you are shifted from a luxurious 2 Room hostel to a matchbox, the Patel hostels. The conditions of other hostels are pathetic, mess food is great overall a warm experience.
