Remarks
In short JNU is awesome but only drawback is their faculty attitude they never support student they only want to humiliate student whenever they get chance like in presentation, seminar etc apart from this JNU is incomparable to any university of India.
Entrance Preview
All India Entrance exam for M.Sc. Biotechnology Conducted by JNU, New Delhi after qualifying the exam we have to give a preference order of all 33 university according to choice, for which JNU conduct the exam after this according to rank and choice we got allotment of university in which we have to take admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
Semester wise course is designed in which one mid term along with class test, assignment, presentation, practical all are included we can take some elective course from other school of JNU like life science, environmental science etc apart fro these non credit also we can opt for our choice like any foreign language etc.
Internships Opportunities
College itself able for providing internship facility for all students department of Biotech provide 5000 per month scholarship fpr M.Sc. Biotech student and University provide MCM scholarship which is also around 5000 disable quato scholarship also provided by university.
Placement Experience
JNU few time conduct placement activity only specially in School of Biotechnology for biotech companies after my batch panacea biotech came for campus which offer 2.5 lakh per annum few students got selected but finally non of them join.
College Events
JNU have many activity which is well organized and well known all over India beside fresher/farewell every hostel in winter season organize hostel night party, other departmental programme also there for enjoyment.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In fee structure JNU is awesome maximun admission charge is 287 in my time and semester fee is only 167 rupee which can pay even a beggar this fee include all the facility like tuition fee, library fee, internet, lab, etc in my point of view this fee structure is lowest in all over India.
Fees and Financial Aid
No need to take loan for taking study here university fellowship and other national level fellowship amount is good enough to dwell a luxury life here for M.Sc Biotech student Department of Biotechnology, Gov. of India provide 5000 per month for two year.
Campus Life
Campus life is really cool and awesome in Delhi JNU is apart from delhi all around greenery on arawali hills give a better feeling in this metropolitan city every one have freedom to live, talk, study etc even girls are most safest here from all point of view campus academic area is wi-fi enabled campus have all the basic facility to live a sound life neither type of violence is reported here.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel room are well organized with common washroom and bathroom with hot and normal water facility each hostel have two wings and each wing have water cooler with RO filter water all rooms are sharing but Ph.D third year onward single room allotted there is three girl-Boy sharing hostel and few separate one monthly 10 rupee was collected at my time for hostel which should be deposit at the start of semester.
Alumni/Alumna
All alumni are well placed in reputed institute world wide most of the seniors are actively engaged in academic career or scientific career in all national and international institute. All students of SBT are net-jrf qualified which is jointly conducted by CSIR-UGC for lecturership with fellowship. All seniors are in association with their juniors.
Exam Structure
Here course is divided into credits M.Sc. is allotted 60 credit which includes various subject with different credit labs are well maintained and well equipped there is a central instrumentation facility also which contain all heavy and costly instrument.Whole study schedule is hectic.
Faculty
All the faculty are high standards and well known scientist or academician which have post doc experience from international institute like NIH, oxford, Cambridge etc all faculty members are well qualified in their discipline and area of research.
