Remarks :
Eligibility is degree any under graduation domain with a 60% score. CAT exam is a must with 95+ percentile at least. WAT, Personal interview, Work experience, and the academic score is also a vital factor in the selection process. I did not take reservation benefits. The admission process is smooth here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the Finance domain as it is really good here. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:25 here. The faculty is very qualified and experienced with a doctorate degree and industry experience. Exams are held twice every trimester and there are 6 trimesters in this 2-year course of MBA.
Internships Opportunities :
Summer internships are for the 1st year students. The average stipend is around 1 lakh here and the highest is around 2.5 lakhs. Companies like Genpact, Pidilite, Tata sky, Pepsico, Axis bank, Muthoot finance, etc visit the campus offering roles in banking, sakes, research, IBD, etc.
Placement Experience :
Placements are descent. The average package is around 20+ lakhs and the highest goes around 40+ lakhs. Companies like Crisil, HDFC bank, American Express, Nomura, Marico, ITC, Swiggy, etc visit the campus. Almost 100% of the batch gets placed in the final placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees in IIM Udaipur is approximately 15+ lakhs for 2 years including tuition fees, books, and other expenses. The fee is hiked almost 5% or 50,000 depending upon certain government norms. Multiple scholarships by centre and state are available for students with good grades and with low family annual incomes.
Campus Life :
Campus life is really good in IIM-U. but, due to COVID, the online scenario is prevalent. Books were sent through courier or online by the college. There are clubs and committees in IIM-U for sports, cultural events, marketing, finance, etc. Cultural or Annual event is organized in March of every year.
Interview Experience :
Shortlist was sent to the students who scored well in CAT. My score was 99+ in CAT. WAT and PI were held post that. Topics for WAT were mostly abstract and for PI questions related to my academics and family were asked. Based on the combined score of all this, a merit list was created. I prepared through online coaching only.
