Pranav J.Dev's Review On Mar Baselios Institute Of Technology And Science - [MBITS], Ernakulam

MCA entrance examination conducted by the university of kerala and i have got a rank below 1000. And i choose Mar Baselios Instittute of Technology because its about 10 km distance from my home

Computer ScienceC++CComputer organization And this was a three year Post graduation course and there were 6 semesters. All the semester exams were conducted by the university of kerala and the result will be published with in three to four months and we need to clear all the papers with in this three years that was very difficult one to get because there were accounting papers also.

Internship also was very good. Some of the companies from technopark came to the college and they conducted some seminars debatrs and all. And they offers some interships to their comppanies some of our college mates joined and i think they got some 5 k or something.

We have conducted a placement drive in our college for the degree passout batches. For this some of the companies from technopark trivandrum came and participated companies like Aptara, Elements, Reflection IT Solution came and they offered some basic packages for the candidates as they are freshers.

There were an association named Mar Baselios Institute Student Association(MISA). With this MISA lots of events were conducted like some workshops in the topic LINUX. And some seminaars in the topic of Accounting computer science Technolies and all Events were successfully conducted with this MISA.

I got a bank loan form State Bank of Indian with an interest rate of 14%. As this is a very high interest rate i dont have any other options beacuse i am coming from a middle class family.

Campus life was very beautiful and we are now missing that beauty. Its very wonderful and the only disappointment was the campus life will not came back to my life any more.

There were alumini group in the college and thay are conduting meeting in the college for every year and i attended every alumini meeting and it is very beautiful and we can see our old frinds and their life.

As this was a Post graduation course the exams were conducted by the kerala university and it was Semester based. So every six month there will be examinations and we need to clear all the papers as we need to get some good job and all.

Faculties in the college were very friendly to us, they will clear all the doubts of us with in no time. And they will advise us to take right deceision at the right time. Basically they are very supportive and encouraging fauculties i have seen ever across in my carrier.
