Remarks :

I always wish to took my higher college in a good college. After I passed out higher secondary examination my choice to read in Jagannath Barooah College. Because it is one of the best and famous college of Assam and Jorhat. My father also a alumni of this college. So that I got admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am a student of history department. Our History course syllabus is pretty good. Our syllabus include world history, ancient history, Indian history as well as Assam history. Our teaching faculties are excellent. They all have higher degree and many years of experience.

Placement Experience :

Because I am a student of third semester, I can't give proper information about placements and job opportunity's of our college. But in our prospectus it is written that sometimes campus recruitment program held in our college and many students get jobs.

College Events :

To answer this question, firstly I must tell about Anirvana, the annual fest of our college. Many events and competition like sports, dance, drama, debate, cultural rally, literature etc held in the fest and all students can perform. Moreover our college is always support students talents and skills development.

Starting journey in RGU

Placement Experience:

The 4th year students becomes eligible for campus placement. I'm certainly in the 1st semester so not sure about the companies visiting but the placements and packages are good here. More than half of the students are placed in many good companies in india and some are also working abroad. After this degree I'm planning to do my masters.

I always wanted to be engineer but now a days their less vaccines of BTech holder than diploma holders that's why I went to this college as this college was near my house. And this is college has some name and fame in Assam.

Placement Experience:

As per my knowledge in my institute students are eligible form 6th semester to be part of campusing, As best of my knowledge highest package is 25000 per month and average is 15000 or less. Percentage of student is very less maximum 2/3 students get job

Remarks:

gauhati university is the oldest university of north east india. Previous year our HOD ma'am was selected as Vice Cencellor of Assam women's university, jorhat and it is really pride for us. I opting to study in this university because it is overall a good university among north east india.

Placement Experience:

Now a days government recognized sangskrit as the official language so it will the great help for us for getting administrative jobs. And after successful completion of the course we can also get teachers job aswell.

I have heard the popularity and historic pride of J. B college since my school days. The college is A grade rewarded by NAAC and have NIRF top ranking college. So I decided to study in this college.

It's a reputed college and stands in 9th position in Nirf and there are various courses in the college and different clubs to join,We can opt as many as we are interested in and I also love to study in different states and to their culture.

Admission:

The admission procedure is easy, I have completed my BE. After that, I gave the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) Exam. No interview process for this admission just fill the registration form and complete all the documentation process.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell faculty have good collaboration with many MNC?, they help every student in clearing interview rounds as well as provides internships too. This is the topmost college in overall Pune. College is always famous for its campus placements.

Admission:

Students who want to pursue a Ph.D. program require to have passed the qualifying examination securing at least 55% marks and equivalent degrees. Based on academics entrance exam is given to the students. Followed by the personal interview.

Placement Experience:

Most of the on-campus job drive was in the field, but the problem is the salary is not as good as the industry? compensation standards. The training provided is also good. 35 out of 40 students got selected in the placements. And average companies visit the campus.
