Remarks :

I was getting the best branch possible - EE(according to me) at NIT Durgapur only. So chose this. Overall I would have settled with any better institute if I'd have been getting Circuital branch in them.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose EE because of better placement oppurtunities. Faculty : Student Ratio is a bit on the poor side, but enough. Faculties are highly qualified. Teaching methods in online are okayish. Exams were always timely. Exams were moderately difficult.

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Not yet

Placement Experience :

Placements are good as we are the 6th best NIT in India. Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester. Internships are available from third year. Major companies like Amazon, Goldman Sachhs, Miscrosoft, JPMC and other core companies visit us too.

College Events :

Campus life is amazing. Techfest- Aarohan, generalky conducted around march or April. Other fests are - Nityamini, Verve. Library is very good. Loads of books. Classrooms are awesome too. Sports culture is very good and competitive. There are more than 20 clubs and socities being run by students covering all domains and very fun and insightful to engage with.

Campus Life :

Infrastructure is very good. We have separate lecture halls, halls of residences and labs. We have different academic and administrative blocks. There are grounds for Competitive sports too. Library is quite spacious too. Lab equipments are up to date and good.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are good. Some halls are really great and have state of the art facilities. Some not so much but overall everything's good. A typical room includes bed, Chair and table and lockers provided. Meal quality is just like average mess food of other Indian colleges. Hostels are alloted by college authority themselves and are affordable easily.

Admission :

No. I didn't face any GD round. I was selected on the basis of my result of JEE Main exam. I am writing this in order to complete the 150 words compulsory limit.

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

College was good in terms of studies and many more. But now it fails in giving placement. Most of the students are still unemployed. Only 30% of the students are placed from college. Others have to find there own jobs.
