Internships in MANIT MCA

TS
4.3 /5

Remarks :

One can take admission in the MCA course of MANIT by clearing NIMCET Exam, a general candidate would need a rank of around 350. Any math or computer science graduate can apply for the NIMCET exam and all the other details can be found at nimcet.in website. There is a quota for SC/ST and OBC students as per the government norms.

Course Curriculum Overview :

MCA course is the right choice for any coding and software handling enthusiast, it gives an industrial experience and filtered syllabi which is just right for an IT guy to learn. Faculty in MANIT is no doubt brilliant, they would teach you exactly what you're going to need in your placements and other long-term events like the GATE exam. Here, you will only be taught what you didn't already know. The faculty knows that merely the basics of the subjects won't be enough for the students to grow. They take you to a level that gives you an edge over others and gives you a sense of satisfaction while you learn something new.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship offers start during the second year of MCA and yes what a blessing they are as they have so much to learn in them. It can be cracked based on your project works or if any relevant skill you pursue. One of the major field is web development.

Placement Experience :

MCA placements in MANIT have also been a record 100% for consecutive years. All the major tech giants visit MANIT in order to get their dream candidates. The average package is 10 LPA and it has gone up to a maximum of 35 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure is not really very economical, but again, easy loan facilities and scholarships are always available for NITian. Moreover, internship opportunities would kick in right after your second semester for an industrial experience and also a source of your pocket money.

Campus Life :

In an NIT, the campus life you get is invaluable. WE HAVE EVERYTHING. It sure is going to be a fun ride of 3 years of MCA in MANIT, the fests, the hostels, the classes, and a huge beautiful campus. Personally, I have been a victim of online classes so I haven't really enjoyed the campus that much. But even though online classes, I can easily judge the level at which the faculty, the seniors and MANIT stands.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is good that it covers all basics but not advanced to cover the gap of industry skills also it binds me so that I could not learn any thing outside of it because of continuous exams we have to focus on curriculum. Curriculum does not prepare us for real world things , but it does prepare our fundamentals. It should teach us market trends and technologies. Exams are every month they are mid sem and end sem exams are in 3-4 months.
