Remarks :

Our college provides direct admission based on the jee advanced scores. The admission process was quite feasible and easy. The college comes under a college of national importance. All the details regarding admission are available on the college website.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The future in petroleum engg is very bright as it is always an open market. The college provides direct campus placement to the most eminent PSUs almost all the faculties over here are PhD Holders. Each teacher is very supportive and has immense knowledge.

Class Size : 345Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Companies recruiting include ONGC, BPCL, HPCL, IOCL, GAIL, OIL, RIL. And all major oil and natural gas companies visit the campus and offer decent packages also mass recruiters like Infosys, TCS to visit the campus so u can be pretty relaxed regarding that. ONGC provides internships to every student in the petroleum Engg dept.

Placement Experience :

Coming to placements. PSUs directly recruit from our campus the avg package of the petroleum engg department in 2020 was 10.98 LPA which is quite decent. After IIT Dhanbad it's the next best college having a petroleum engineering branch.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fess, I would say is a bit on the higher side. It's very close to the fees structure of the IITs it's 133400 per sem. Fees hike policy depends on the inflation. There are scholarships too. For more details, you can visit their website.

Campus Life :

The campus is just magnificent. Not a single complaint regarding that. The campus is completely new. Each and every facility is available in the college. Yes, the sports infrastructure needs to be a bit more developed. There are many clubs and societies too for extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities :

The room is one of the best available as of now in the country. Beautifully decorated completely well furnished providing all necessary facilities required. The mess food is overall decent. The hostel is just mind blowing.

The best thing about our college is the placements. Even the market at this time is not performing that well still our college is able to privide us good campus placements, some good companies with huge packages visits our campus is the Commovault, PaloAulto etc.

You are eligible for 3year 5th semester for sitting placements and small companies are coming and every campany has different eligibilty criteria like 75%attandance and 7.5 cgpa mosty good company are demand 7 or above cgpa for placement and average pakage is 5lpa and depends upon your skill set and my plan for after degree is getting a good gob in dream company.

Placement Experience:

After the VI semester students will be eligible for placement. There are lots of companies like tcs, Microsoft, Google, wipro, etc. The highest package was 55 lpa and the lowest was 3.2 lpa. 90 per cent of students are placed.

If one is in B.Tech they become eligible in the 7th semester for placements and the 5th semester for internships. If one is in IDD (B.Tech + Mtech) they come eligible in the 9th and 7th semesters for placements and internships respectively. 300 companies visited for placement with JPMC, Oracle, Deloitte, Microsoft, etc. hired maximum students (PPOs included). Offers made for 1200 students. Maximum CTC - 1.2 Cr (2022 - 2.5 Cr) Above data up to 8th day of placement. Profiles - SDE, quant, DS/ML, DA, Products, Consulting, Core. Placement Experience:

More specifically if I am talking about placement is that if you want to get good placements in dei that you must maintain your sgpa at least 8 points for you to appear in the placement cell. There are many companies visited in college like torrent power for electrical branch and other for their respective branches. Around 60% of students get their placements through college and it also depends on students' ability and skills. Since I am in the 4th semester so yes from 3rd year students get their training or internship through college to students with good grades. So you must have to maintain at least 8 sgpa for better placements.

Best University for Computer Science and other Engineering Programs

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college have been great so far. All the major companies and tech giants like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, AWS, DELL, etc came for placements this year. The average package this year for BTECH students was 8.6 lakhs per annum. Also, the highest package so far has been 44 lakhs p.a. GCET is great for learning and other skill.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in GCET, Although they vary from time to time. For placements, students are eligible from the 7th Sem. Companies like Direct-I, Samsung, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, etc. all visited the campus. The highest package I now am 21LPA buy it can be more. And except recession 60-70%, people are placed. Rest it all depends on students as well.
