Remarks :

Reputed institution in the field of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering in India. This college has excellent placement record and has managed to get its students placed in international companies as well like Shell, Halliburton, IHS Kingdom.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very detailed here. Starting from the basic, it teaches you every thing you need to be an expert in this field. Indeed it is a combination of everything you need to be a professional. We also have highly knowledgeable faculty for the students here. They have vast experience in their respective fields and hence learning from them is always a good idea as far as it comes to academics.

Placement Experience :

The placement scenario is a good one here. Most students are able to get a decent package. Mock interview are held and personal counseling sessions are organized for the students. Companies like Shell, Cairn, Halliburton, ONGC, IOCL, HPCL, Reliance, Essar come for placement but the main aim still remains at the international companies for placement with an average package of around Rs 10 Lakhs

College Events :

In terms of extra curricular activities like the other colleges, we have cultural club, dancing club etc. However, events like Republic Day, Independence Day, freshers meet, technical events are organized by the institute. In terms of infrastructure, the college is the best.

Campus Life :

This institute has world class facilities for the students like hostel area for boys and girls separately, cafeteria area, sports facilities and grounds for all round development of individual, but the library is quite small.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good in my college. In 5 semesters students started becoming eligible for campus placement. The companies visited TCS, reliance, Zomato, Kota Bank, Infosys, Ola, OYO, uber, Amazon etc The highest ever package received by students in the college of my course is 800000. lakhs rupees. Per annum. 40-50%students get placement in my college. My plan after college is to preparation for the CAT exam. Get into a top college for MBA.

Hardships Of Having a Remote college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The terms were on time mostly and it was easy to pass if we were attending lectures and assignments on time as it is a practical based course rather than much based on theory. The teachers were helpful in most of the scenarios but some subjects were not handled properly as the faculty teaching it used to keep changing. Rest mostly all of the teachers were good.

Placement Experience:

More specifically if I am talking about placement is that if you want to get good placements in dei that you must maintain your sgpa at least 8 points for you to appear in the placement cell. There are many companies visited in college like torrent power for electrical branch and other for their respective branches. Around 60% of students get their placements through college and it also depends on students' ability and skills. Since I am in the 4th semester so yes from 3rd year students get their training or internship through college to students with good grades. So you must have to maintain at least 8 sgpa for better placements.

To get admission, I had to first fill application form and then pay a small fee for applying to the college, then after submitting the marks scored in 10+2, students were called for a campus interview upon which the students were selected.
