Remarks :

For B.tech in Computer Science, the student is eligible if he/she had passed Class 12 in the science stream with an aggregate of 60%. If an individual is eligible to apply for this course, then he/she can get the application form from the University's official website. Either the student can give an entrance exam conducted by the university itself or can apply through Jee mains score. Application fees could be around 1400 INR.

Course Curriculum Overview :

In this decade with upcoming new technologies and increasing AI needs, Computer Science branch is the first thing striking in mind. Secondly, I was having an interest in Programming language and thus opt for this course. Faculty: student ratio is good enough on the campus as I never faced a time when I had to sit idle in the lecture due to lack of faculty. All the faculty members are highly educated and have good enough experience. Talking about the exams, There are two terms in each semester. Midterm comprising of 30 marks and Endterm comprising of 70 marks. Each and every exam is easy to pass as it totally depends on the preparation of the student. Just focusing on the lectures and revising them consecutively plays an important role.

Placement Experience :

After the end of the 6th semester, the campus placement drive is started. More than 250 companies visit the campus every year for this particular course. The highest package offered is around 20LPA but the average package is around 4LPA. The university placement cell is working too well and bringing ample opportunities for the students to get placed. I am in my 7th semester and already placed in 5mnc's(Accenture, Wipro, TCS, IBM, cognizant) and one startup company (Bigoh tech, Noida). 95%+ students are placed every year. You'll not get placed only and only if you have a backlog and are not able to pass your semester exams. My plan after getting my degree is definitely work for one of the MNC's.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure is totally fixed and will be provided to the one applying at the time of registration, so there is no fees hike policy. The fee for the first semester is 1,09,000 and it increases every year. Total academic fees for 4 years(2018-2022 batch) is 9,42,000. Scholarship policy is also available depending on the marks scored in 12th. 90%+ marks will fetch you a 100% scholarship. Scholarship can be continued for the entire course depending on the yearly CGPA obtained. Talking about the placement and jobs, If you opt for this course then congratulations, U'll be placed guaranteed as the University CRC is working too well and bringing ample opportunities for the students. More than 250 companies arrive to give campus placement. I'm at the end of my 7th semester and already placed in 5 mnc's(Accenture, Wipro, IBM, TCS, cognizant) and one startup company(Bigoh tech, Noida).

Campus Life :

Campus life at Amity University Gurgaon is the best part. The university is built along with the mountain range and the infrastructure is too beautiful and obviously, because it is Amity, so it is a 5star university. There is a multistory fully air-conditioned library with all the books required for the entire course. All the classrooms are fully air-conditioned and comfortable to attend long lectures. There are 7-8 canteens/cafeterias, auditoriums, gym, playing area, Shopping store and lastly a large sports complex to play any sport you can think of. There are a number of small fests every month and one big annual fest in February. If you opt for a hostel, then you'll enjoy Dj nights too, which are too much fun.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel life is the best life in my entire academic career. It is 100% safe as the student is not allowed to leave the campus without their parent's permission signed by the hostel warden. There are two members in a room. The rooms are beautifully built in L shape which provides total privacy. Room facilities include A bed, study table, chair, almirah, fan, geyser, cloth hanger. Registration is simple as you can apply it during the registration of the course. Meal quality is fair enough but since there are a number of canteens inside the campus, so it totally depends on the money you are spending on the food. Fees for Non- AC hostel is 70000/year Fees for AC hostel is 120000/year.

Placement Experience:

The companies start to visit the campus to place students in 7th and 8th semesters. Almost all the sincere students get a decent fresher job. Students decide from the multiple MNC's that visit the institute every year. Infosys, Daffodil, and Naggaro are some which constantly conduct placement drives. Many students crack government exams thanks to the world-class library and many also crack off-campus offers. In a nutshell, the institute's placement cell in the leadership of Training and Placement Officer Mr.Arun Hooda who himself is an alumnus of the institute has something to offer to every candidate.I plan to either go for a government job or crack a good placement offer , But currently being a sophomore i am not focusing so much on my plans after i get a degree.

If I talk about the negative remarks is this college is affiliated from Kurukshetra University and the results are very bad. Almost 60-70% students of particular stream get reappear. And it never get cleared in first attempt.
