Remarks :

I took admission in IIITKOTA via JEE Mains. The admission process is fairly simple. Josaa provides you with all the college lists along with the documents required for admission in them. I went through a 6 round councelling process and got this college in the last round

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course at IIITKOTA is better than most of the engineering colleges in our country. Since its an IIIT we don't have basic science subjects in the first year and dive deep in coding and DSA in the 1st and 2nd sem onwards respectively. Faculties are qualified but most of them are very strict. Vivas and quizzes are constant. We just have 1 girl in ECE and 70 boys.

Class Size : 71Course Fees : INR 210000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Major companies such as Amazon and JP Morgan visited the campus too. Flipkart too visited the campus offering roles for SDE. Mainly students start preparing for the internships in 5th sem and by the end of the 6th sem, they get interned.

Placement Experience :

3rd-year students are required to do internships. Companies visit the campus for both internships and jobs. Almost around 90 companies recruited in the year 2021. Avg of ECE is around 8-9 lacs whereas CSE is 12-13 lpa. Opportunities are ample if we focus on cracking placements. Companies start visiting for placements from 8th sem. Students placed are more than 90%. Most of visiting companies are IT related.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees maybe considered high since the college is in PPP mode. Almost 2.5 to 3 lacs per year including mess and hostel. Scholarships are not given by college but they help in getting state and national level scholarships given by the govt. Campus placements take place and are fairly good. For ECE the average is not that great around 8 to 9 lacs but for CSE it's descent of around 13 lacs

Campus Life :

Life at campus is great. 500 acres of Greenery and beauty along with football and cricket grounds. MNIT sports complex. TT Table, badminton Court and volleyball Court in each hostel. We hold an annual fest in Feb March called Flair Fiesta which is not that big but there's also a fest conducted by MNIT which is 10 times bigger and better. We have many clubs. Damce, literature, drama, sports, photography, entrepreneurship, art, anime etc. Classrooms are AC halls. Coding culture is also good in the collge.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is avg. If you are allotted old hostels like H4 then the rooms are not upto the mark but the location is secluded from main area hence there's a lot of fun. If you get hostel like GANGA then the rooms are far better. The semester wise rent of hostel is mere 12000 and the mess fees are 20000. Mess food is not that great except few days. We get food 4 times a day.

"Inside LNMIIT" : A Comprehensive College Review

Placement Experience:

Placements here are good enough. A large number of registered students placed every year but last year due to recession insitute placements dropped down from around 95 percent to 70 percent, and this thing happened in every college even in IIT's. some students got placed but did not accepted the offer due to low CTC. and the average package was also dropped last year. Highest CTC offered was around 50 lpa and average CTC dropped down to 11 LPA from 15 LPA last to last year. There are various companies came to our college including Media.net, D.E. Shaw, BNY MELON, AMAZON, FLIPKART, EAGLEVIEW, ION GROUP, TEKION CORP, SCHLUMBERGER, HONDA CARS, DELOITTE, IBM and many more, number of offers made for 2024 batch was 330 as per the placement cell data. and from 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placements. My only plan is to get a decent placement in a tech company and no further study plans I have.

Good Placements and Social Life in College.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd and 4th years students can become eligible for placements. there are many companies visited in my college like infosys, wipro, tcs, tech, Microsoft, flipkart, accenture and all. 75% of students got placed. my plane is not only for getting degree my dream is to become a Software Engineer. Highest package is 45LPA and Average package is 10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So basically btech is a 4 year course and there are 8 semester,2 sem for each year. As they need to provide 6 month for each sem according to our calculations but they'll only provide u 4 month for each sem which leads a mental disturbance for students coz there are so many exams in every month of the sem so this is hectic but the examination are not so hard and not so easy and also 75 percent attendance is mandatory for all to sit in exam

Placement Experience:

As earlier said there is a lot of upper hand in terms of placements if we compared it with other private institutions, BITJ has a very good placement cell especially made for Btech placements students starting from 6th sem onwards sitting in cell visited by many different companies with a lot different package. The average package of BitJ is about 900000, especially for the CSE branch and highest, go upto 30lac more depending on individual skills and qualities and about 80-90 % of students got placing every year and the rest go to higher studies n all.
