Remarks :

I had applied to several colleges in Pune. In 1st round, I was allocated MIT, Alandi (Computer) but due to fees constraints, I decided to go for 2nd round, and then I got to this college. I got admission through TFWS(Tuition fee waiver scheme) in which my tuition fee is canceled and I have to pay only the college development fee. As I got 96%ile in CET, so I was eligible for this scheme. Every college has its own criteria. After the allotment, instructions were given for admission form filling. The overall admission process was good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Here we have very helpful and well-qualified faculties for all subjects. I am in the IT department so personally, for me, coding is very important and the teachers here have always helped me in solving my doubts. Every faculty member has completed their masters and most of them have completed or pursuing a Ph.D. But because of the pandemic, our academics started late and due to this our 1st year was just rushed and completed within 6 months.

Class Size : 67Course Fees : INR 14074 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are offered through college as well as we can also apply for the same. Last year Sparks Foundation was one of the companies to offer internships. The roles offered are completely based on your skills. Internships offered are paid with min. 5000 as well as unpaid.

Placement Experience :

The placement rate is quite good. Generally after the 7th semester, i.e. 4th-year students become eligible for Placements. Several companies like Infosys, tcs, cognizant, etc visit the campus. Along with this, there were several startups that provided on-campus Placements. The highest package was about 9 LPA whereas the average was about 4.5 LPA. The percentage of Computer and IT department was more than E&TC department.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have got admission through TFWS so I am supposed to pay only development fees i.e. Rs. 20,000. But fees structure is different for all categories(OBC, open, SC, ST, etc). Apart from this college doesn't provide any scholarships. But there are several private as well as government scholarships that are available, So one applies for it. But there is one condition that one who has opted for admission through TFWS then he/she cannot apply for any other scholarship. Job Placements: Several companies visit our campus during placements. Last year we had the highest of 9 LPA whereas the average was about 4.5 LPA.

Campus Life :

Usually, campus life is quite good. The college has a green and peaceful campus that really refreshes the mind. Also, the infrastructure of the college is also well maintained including the college hostel. Most importantly the area in which the college is located is excellent.

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

Our beautiful College

Placement Experience:

From the third-year sixth semester our college taking campus placement or internship programs. In the past, our college has got an average of 4 LPA packages and the highest 12 or 14 LPA packages. There are so many companies like TCS, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc. Our College gives 95-98% placement in engineering. My plan is to do a job in a data scientist post in the company and give my best to that company that's all.

Is RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering a good place for seeking admission

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.

Last year students gets the chance for placements. many companies came here to offer jobs for students. ex.l&t,HC,etc. for cs there is highest package of 43 lakh. for civil average package of 6-7 lakh is there. around 75-80% students gets placed. My Engineering Life Review in this college

Admission:

I got admission through CAP Round as directed by AICTE and DTE, the process is of 3 rounds until you choose a college and finalize it. Admission dates for FE students start from around May-June period as college opens at around 15 July approx. And Students need to bring all documents attested and submit the original 10th- 12th documents in the college and after completing the graduation. He/She can collect the originals from the college after collecting LC from the college.
