Prabhat's Review On B. N. M. Institute Of Technology - [BNMIT], Bangalore

Entrance Preview :

I took comedk in 2008. i got a score of 6000 and opted ISE branch through comedk counselling, After getting reviews from my senior did some research on internet i found this college a pioneer institute in engineering and technology.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum in BNM has mode of education delivery (Class room lectures, Lab work, Tutorials, Field work, Course projects, Case studies etc.), and Assessment (type of examinations). The mode of teaching, setting high bench marks for achievement and assessing so that you clearly demarcate low achievers from high achievers. This is difficult to make uniform across the country.

Internships Opportunities :

No, the batch in which i studied i didn't get any chance of internship so we voluntarily opted for the some internship which was governed by Indian government.

Placement Experience :

BNM has very good placement records and from my batch almost all student got placed in good MNC

College Events :

The BNMIT Technical fest TATVA’12 was organized on 22nd February 2012. The International Conference on Mathematical Modeling and Non – Linear Equations. International Conference on Mathematical Modeling and Non – Linear Equations was organized by Dept. of Mathematics during January 20-22, 2010.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The annual tuition fees through comedk is 1.25 lpa. When i joined the college last year i paid 50k DD at the counselling and 1 lakh during the admissions .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No, college didn't offer any scholarship / loan facility. However i took loan from my native place at the rate of 13 percentage .

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network in BNM are very strong and the seniors are very supportive. We get to know many things from our seniors.

Admission :

l have to carry all the required documents, in original and as attested photocopies. After verification of the document they will be allow to register for the counselling. It is mandatory for the candidates to get registered, else they will not be allowed to attend the counselling.

Placement Experience:

Placements are around 90 percent in the Computer Science course with average package of 600000 and highest package of 5100000 till date. A great number of companies visit the college for hiring making it a great opportunity to the students to showcase their capabilities to the recruiters. My plans are to pursue civil services and serve the country as soon as I complete my degree.

Placement Experience:

From 7 semesters students are eligible to attend the placement and on our campus, we have fewer placement opportunities compared to other colleges. need to improve the placement program in our college in most of the companies coming top BPO and some of the students got selected to the good companies also but in our time replacement was not I'll expect. The highest package and average package of components and I really don't know about that and the percentage of students getting placements maybe around 10 to 15% and I didn't select in placement after the completion of my degree. I joined some courses after so many months I got the job.
