Sri Ramakrishna Institute Of technology - SRIT

Remarks :

The admission process was entirely faced to face and it was an amazing experience to get in contact with the college staff. Yes, I had availed SC quota for admission. The admission criteria of the program include the minimum mark secured to be 65 % in HSC.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had a keen interest in machines so I had to go with Mechanical Engineering (4-year course). We had around 56 students in our class and it was mentored by very professional mentors of three. Approximately it had a faculty: student ratio of 20:1.

Internships Opportunities :

Most of the companies which provide internships are often familiar with the teaching staff and the internships were mostly for the graduate trainee. The college provides major knowledge on projects and it has even taken a place in UNICEF Malaysia.

Placement Experience :

Placements are provided on the basis of requirements. The companies visited are Zoho, Wipro It sectors, Tech Mahindra, and a few of the MNC's. The percentage of the students getting placements is around 75 - 85.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees hike policy and cost to study were well affordable. I'm got admission under the government quota so I had the deduction of a fee. We had placement training but unfortunately, the entire two years were undertaken by Covid-19.

Campus Life :

The annual fest & tech fest takes place every year at the college. It was split into departments. The library plays a major role in our college, It has lots of references, encyclopedias, etc. SRIT develops sports majorly.

Hostel Facilities :

Details of facilities provided in the room are Bed cote, Fan, Almirah, Chair. The meal provided just satisfies your hunger for major days. Hostel fees affordability is the major issue found in SRIT. Yes, I got myself rented for a room near the college and it saved me a lot of money.

Placement Experience:

It's a name that almost every student get places in this college. They have high placement record. But during recession time it's a bit tough for people to secure good jobs. People having jobs currently are makin sure their job is safe . So now irrespective of college during recession period it's hard to get a good high paying software job. It alll depends on our skill. We need to develop it

Remarks:

The management should take care of the college and should try to improve the surrounding in which it is situated. The higher authorities of the university should visit this campus on a regular basis and should always keep a check on the functioning of the system.
