Remarks :

My admission was done by a interview by my HOD and it was really a great experience. As there was a lockdown due to COVID19 my full interview session was on a telephone call. I was bit of a nervous at that time but then it was all okay after a minute or two.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have taken this course because I love programming, graphics and game designing since my childhood days. In the college I have some great faculty members and they teach us like their own kids. All the team exams and semesters were in time and if you listen to the lectures of the department faculties and read the provided notes carefully then you can easily pass the semesters.

Class Size : 228Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The famous companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosis, Intel, Byjuss, Whitehat Jr visit the campus every year to offer best in class placements for the students and they can get a good amount of stipend based on their skills.

Placement Experience :

From the last semester students become eligible for the campus placements. The famous companies like TCS, Aditya Birla, Wipro, Infosis visit our campus every year to give the best possible placements to the students out there.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fess structure policy of the college is just great and you can pay the fees by semester. My whole course fee is almost 4lakh rupees. I have got some great scholarships from my college. The faculty members helped me a lot to get the right scholarships. Currently I am working in Microsoft as a internship trainee.

Campus Life :

There are so many fests happen in our college campus like YCOMM, Summer Fest, Chorus etc. There are thousands of books available in our college library. We don't have to buy any books, we just borrow the needed books from the library.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.

Remarks:

This college still today stands to be among the first choice of every student in the hooghly district and 2nd in the Burdwan University. The only negative part is that this college has a very high political presence in the campus. Though the present government said that they oppose such strong political holds in colleges but still this words has not been kept.
