Remarks :

Admission can be done through NIMCET. The maximum rank in NIMCET to get admission in MANIT is around 360. On counselling day you need to provide documents like 10th, 12th, graduation mark sheet, rank card, and some other documents.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chooses MCA because placement is guaranteed in this course. Some Faculties don't have knowledge of the subjects that they are teaching. All faculties have completed PhD. Exams difficulty depends on faculty as papers are set by faculty.

Class Size : 94Course Fees : INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Some companies visited in our campus that provide internship opportunities. Companies like JP morgan, codenation visited. And other companies like Samsung, Microsoft, Deutsche bank don't allow MCA for internships. There stipends varies from 20K - 60K.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible from 5th semester for placements. Companies visited are Google, Microsoft, Codenation, Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung, and lots of other companies also. But some companies don't allow MCA to sit for placements. Highest CTC is 32LPA and average is around 8LPA-9LPA. Around 90% of students get placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Course fees is around 90K per annum without hostel. But you will easily get a student loan from bank. There are lots of scholarships in our college. It also depends on the state from which you belong to. Student from UP and MP get scholarship easily.

Campus Life :

There are 2 annual fests in MANIT. I don't remember their name. There are lots of books in the library. You can issue maximum of 4 books from library. There are kits of opportunities for sports and extracurricular activities. There is a sports complex in a college where you can play chess, badminton, table tennis, and other games also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is good that it covers all basics but not advanced to cover the gap of industry skills also it binds me so that I could not learn any thing outside of it because of continuous exams we have to focus on curriculum. Curriculum does not prepare us for real world things , but it does prepare our fundamentals. It should teach us market trends and technologies. Exams are every month they are mid sem and end sem exams are in 3-4 months.

The placements are just for the sake of advertisement. Mostly people get placed off campus and i have the same plans. Out of 100,only 5-10 people get placed on campus. My plans are to find a good job off campus.
