Entrance Preview :

I took IEEE exam to get admission in this college. And I chose this college because it is probably the best college in North Maharashtra University.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is not quite research focused to-be honest. It's like classic Indian "follow the marks" like structure. Although the electives were quite career decisive. Such as if you wanna get specialist in microprocessors we had 3 subjects to make the core more settled. As well as for networking career we were assigned for 3 networking related subjects. The focus on programming subjects was quite diminutive though.

Internships Opportunities :

Actually college didn't provide any internship they used to focus on direct placements. Some of my colleagues were in some college based internships.

Placement Experience :

From my batch about 21 students were placed eventually. Tata Consultancy Services, Larson and Toubro, Hewlett Packard, etc were there for campus interviews. The packages offered by them were 3.0 LPA on an average. Some 5/6 students got early joining but rest of them had to wait for couple of months.

College Events :

Technical events were pretty good at that time, best in the university so that we had better scope for new aspects of the engineering. Students from all over the university used to participate in them. So the exchange rate of knowledge was high. Cultural events were good though. They used to refresh our minds before exams everytime and to the great extent.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure was feasible for average families. For first year I had to pay around 43,000/- Rupees, which increased for second year to 47,000/-, further it went on 52,000/- for 3rd year. And for last year I had to pay around 57,000/- as college fee. All the numbers are not exact amount.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio was not satisfying, from my class there were only 20 girls among 60 students. Dorm parties were not regular but whenever college arranged those, we had great time. Other aspects of diversity like ethnicity, race, religion, politics and economic as well were not that affecting the togetherness of students.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms were not that spacious to be honest. We used to live 3 students in a room. But other facilities were good enough. Like, in summer we were allowed to use AC in our rooms without affecting the hostel fees of 10000/- annual. At that time PG rentals were around 1500 Rs for a student. Mess food was that appreciable.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni programs were average. Not great alumni network but was not that bad though. Some of alumni used to visit us and they tend to get know the corporate world.

Exam Structure :

Labs were kind of equipped with almost everything we needed. And overall sessions were good to be at. Some went dull due to exhaustion. Exam arrangements were pretty good though. We had peons to provide anything we wanted at the time of exam except cheats for sure. Also the arrangements were quite strict for exams so that you had no chance for cheating.

Admission :

In the preference list this college was within first 10 numbers. At the time of second round of admissions I came to know that I am going to get undergraduate from this college. At the admission time the administrative staff was quite more student friendly.

Faculty :

Talking about faculty the Head of the department was a scholar guy with envisioned course structure for students so that they could easily get a job opportunity. He also pressed students to research targeted education through mini projects and projects, thought, the syllabus was not that research friendly he managed to get away with it. Other teaching faculty had super interest to teach each and every aspect of subjects.

Placement Experience:

Talking about placements, most of the placements occurs in CSE and IT branch, but surprisingly in the Government College of Engineering Aurangabad, the Mechanical branch has the same placements comparatively just the fact is that the package is less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As every Diploma passing student enters to degree college same process I went through. The faculty of the college are well educated and hardworking. As a student, you have to reach out to your faculty and maintain a good relation with them to get constant support from them. the ratio is 25:1. The teaching method of professors is very professional. Exams are as per the government regulations and the difficulty level is moderate for general students.

Placement Experience:

Students are encouraged to take internships from the moment they are confident and can handle responsibility. They are eligible for placements after semester 4. Approximately 60+ companies visit the campus every year and they take an average of 4-5 offers. For instance, the highest package can be 40+lpa from Microsoft. 90-100% placements happen every year. My plan after getting the degree is to acquire a placement and work with the organization.

The college Bajaj Institute of Technology, Wardha is very reputed college as it is Shiksha Mandal's college. I saw many advertisement about this college throughout the year and that's why choose to take admission in it.

Placement Experience:

Till now no company has visited. 2 students are selected and that is with their own efforts. Not having any job referral because hardly few students are placed. In startup one group won the hackathon and I guess they are doing their startup thing
