Good collection of books in library.

Remarks :

I have applied for Delhi university but i have not to get selected for any college so finally, i decided to take admission in FIMT. Nowadays B.A with economics has great demand in the industry so its quite difficult to get admission. I have given IPU-CET and i score good marks. On the basis of IPU-CET and 12th marks, I get selected by this college. The minimum mark is required 50% in the 12th standard. There is no such as age limit for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

While studying in 11 and 12th class i get interested in economics subject so i decided to make a career in it by doing further study in it, other things help me to choose this course that when i was searched in google about career option after studying economics. Teachers take classes with all the latest technology equipment. Terms exam is not very difficult, most of the student easily get a pass in semester exam, yes if you want to score good number then you need to study hard.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees of B.A with economics is quite low as compared to other courses offered by FIMT college. I am from Delhi only so it save me hostel fees and transportation fees so cost of the study was low for me. It was cost me around rupees 55000 per year to complete this course.

Campus Life :

For sports, colleges provide all types of indoor and outdoor sports game facilities. The college organizes sports day also every year so all student gets chance to show their talent in sports. If any student is talent in any sports then college also helps that student. For extracurricular activites colleges conduct many events every month which helps the mind development of students. The library has a good collection of books and journals. Students can get any books from the library for the home study also.

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell of the college is very active. Students can avail themselves of the placement opportunities from the fifth semester. I have been selected as a content writer in the fifth semester. I was offered a 4.6 LPA in the esteemed company. More than 40 percent of students end up doing getting jobs. I have decided to earn some experience as a content writer and then apply for the MA journalism program.

Placement Experience:

For the courses like Architecture, Engineering, Law, Mass Communication, many big companies come for placements in Jamia. As my course is a Bachelors's subject under Arts, there aren't many placement opportunities. But I hope to pursue my Master in History after which I would try to get placed.

Placement Experience:

The placements for BA Program in particular are slightly lower as compared to other courses. Most students from the course opt for higher studies but the few who choose to sit for placements find it hard to land a job. Campus placements start in 5th semester and continue for the entire final year. A student is free to sit for as many companies as they like, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria like CGPA, course, etc. Most companies hire a maximum of 4 students owing to the small population of students at St. Stephen's. The highest package in 2021 was 18LPA and the average package is about 6 LPA-8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Around 70% of the students get good campus placements, especially in the private sector. The average package for the students is 6,000,00 per annum. The highest package offered to the student varies between 25 lakhs to 35 lakhs. My plans are different as I want to pursue my higher education.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good. It has tie ups with reputed news channels. But in our course, the college does not provide internships, students have do it themselves and they have to prepare their own youtube channel for work.

The management is an equally hardworking and efficient team like the faculties. They maintain a good relationship with the students as well as with the teachers and are approachable for both the parties. Their functioning has ensured that the college runs smoothly in terms of presenting itself to others.

The college timings and the unprofessional conduct of many teachers and the office staff has made college an exhausting experience. There are no proper channels for conveying our complaints and suggestions.
