Remarks :

I have not applied for any other colleges rather than Chandigarh University. No, I am not eligible for any of the quotas. One can apply through cucat and can directly get admissions also. Must have at least 50% in 12 boards. The admission process was easy.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose mechanical engineering because it inspires me to do various projects related to machines and automobiles. The faculty and student ratio is quite good 40:1. Most of the faculty members are M-tech, and some are PhD holders also. Term exam held once every 2 months.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

High radius has taken over 15 students with the training payment of 17000 rupees For the marketing, consulting and Business jobs. The project was to understand how the company works worldwide and deals with foreign clients and sell the software.

Placement Experience :

Placement starts from 3rd year In Mechanical department or other engineering branches. Companies such as Bosch, Saint Gobain and High radius has taken all about 20 students. The highest package is 36LPA and the lowest package is 3LPA. average of fifty percent of students get placed. Get a job in a reputed manufacturing company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is fixed for every course, There is sometimes minimal change in fees. Students get a scholarship for sports as the students who achieved any nation or international medal are eligible for a sports scholarship and also on the marks of their previous school scores.

Campus Life :

Every year there is Cu fest and various other big events. And every month it organises Tashan Nights. We can easily get any book related to the course and reference books are also there. One can read online journals also. Labs are good and we get equipments to perform. there are many clubs like cultural club Abhivyakti, Sports Club.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are clean and good to live in, with AC ducts. The meal is somewhat fresh but tastes not so appreciatable. The registration process is easy just get a sign of the registrar and then with the permission of the Hostel General Manger one can get his room. No, I have lived in a hostel.

Hostel Fee : INR 84000 per year

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good but this year no of placement is less as compare to the last year. In B.E. From 6 semster student were eligible for placement and all this big MNC visit the campus for placement like Infosys, Microsoft,etc.this 9000+ offer were there. Near about 70% student get placement. My plans after the degree I want to became the data analytics after the completion of course.

Campus placement is 93 percent this year . Companies start visiting department in the month of September. Students are eligible for placement as they enter in the final year (7 semester) . The average package is around 5.5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is 12 lakh per annum. Students can go in field of pharmaceutical industry, oil and petroleum, fertiliser, paints, chemicals etc . Placement Experience:

The placement are good, you will see many companies visit the campus such as Amazon Google Wipro TCS connivance Accenture Deloitte and many more. The main baad thing is their placements is that if you get a offer from any company irrespective of package then you have to accept and there is no option to deny the offer aane of you don't join then you will get debated from placement process.

Remarks:

I chose this college because I was not able to get admission in pec and this college was the only option. Academics wise its good. Faculties are good. The bad side is the college life you expect its almost zero there. No social life. There are only 5-600 students in the campus. And pretty bad cafeteria.

Admission:

To get the admission here you have to appear for jee mains. And according to the cutoffs you will get the admission. I prepared for it with my normal tutions.
