Remarks :

When i got admission, it was on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by Bihar govt BCCEE. but now counseling is done at BCCEE at Patna on the basis of the score of JEE Mains. It needs to get a good score in JEE MAINS to get a good score in the entrance exam particularly in CSE.ex 91%.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Because of the core branch of Engg, i adopted mechanical Engg. I am particularly very much interested in mechanical since my school days. the teacher-student ratio is 1in 15. The method of teaching is satisfactory. College exams are held timely. But university exams is held timely but from last year it delayed due to corona pandemic.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 10000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship in the final year is the choice of the students. They are taking in the public sector companies like SAIL etc. I

Placement Experience :

Final year students are eligible to get placement. Many software companies visited last year. The highest package in my knowledge is 8 lakh per annum. percentage of students getting placement is around 10%. My plan after my degree is MBA through CAT.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since it is a Bihar govt college, its fees are as low as Rs 120 per month. You can also apply for a scholarship if you come from a lower-income group i.e less than Rs 150000 per year. Campus placement is held every year particularly for the CSE branch of Engg.

Campus Life :

Annual festival held every year. Last year the tech festival was postponed due to the corona pandemic. Plenty of engg related books is available in the library. Students can use it according to their needs. Inter Engg college of Bihar sports is conducted every year. Good volleyball teaching is available in this college. Many Social media groups are active.

Hostel Facilities :

Standard furniture of make Godrej is provided, A separate almirah is provided to each student. A room accommodates 2 students only. The rooms are newly built and it looks good. Quality of meal provided is good, 2 times nonveg meal in a week. Hostel facilities are very good. You can find a room outside also in Chandi at a cheap rate.

Hostel Fee : INR 12000 per year

I was interested in this course for a very long time. Faculty members are very good here, they taught us very well all respective courses. All are very well-qualified teachers here with Ph.D. degrees from reputed colleges. Every semester duration is of 6months and this course is not very easy but not also very tough.

Internship opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement after the 5th sem. A lot of services and core companies visit here like Alstom, TCS, HCl, Infosys, etc. Alstom offered 7.2 LPA to 15 students. Last year more than 50 percent of the students were placed. The placement is 100% in its branch. I am planning for higher education.

Remarks:

It is a growing college with an aim to promote quality education amongst the students of Bihar. It is creating a peaceful environment for the students to explore their areas of interest. It is going to be a great college in the future.

Admission:

I appeared for the entrance exam that is CUCET which is required for the admission. The college considers the composite scores of CUCET along with the 10+2 marks in the science stream wherein physics and mathematics are the compulsory subjects.
