Remarks :
I took the admission from the South quota, So the fees vary for South Indians than North Indian students. In South Indians, based on their 12th marks, the fees vary, when I took admission in 2018, now it may have increased a bit. The admission process was a bit lengthy task since it includes paying fees to get a wifi password. I would say that the placements are of average packages. Talking about B. Tech, then there are great offers for core branches but non core courses like chemical, petroleum, dairy, agriculture, there are not many options as of core courses.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Since We are the first batch of our Petroleum Engineering Branch, in starting there were not many faculties, but as of now that I am in my final year (2021-2022), our Juniors are enjoying the teaching from many faculties. Our Faculties are well educated and also have guide n support us in all ways possible. From being mentors to friendly, they teach us many things.
Internships Opportunities :
They use a server named Pumis and Calxypod which gives you information about all the companies and internship opportunities that are held at . Talking about the project, mentor guide to doing project. The stipend can be varying from 2LPA to 6LPA.
Placement Experience :
Placements are pretty well for core branches than non core. The highest package registered is 18 LPA till date in Parul University. Students can apply for the placements as soon as they complete their mid 7 semesters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It varies for all the courses, as I said I was from South quota with 900+ marks, so my fees was bit less than other South Indian students who have marks less than 900. My fees is around 52k per semester which includes all the exams fees, laboratory usage and others. Other than in the first year, they will take extra 15-20 thousand for the same exams fees and all, but it includes the goodies as well.
Campus Life :
The Social life here is pretty good and well. In fact it's one of the best here. There is No ragging here and sports activities are also excellent. The Annual Festival DHOOM is conducted every year in Feb-March which is a 3-4 days gala including cultural, artistic, sports and Everything possible. Moreover it's conducts, PROJECTIONS, which is a engineering gala conducted after DHOOM and other galas are conducted as well. The library has both novels and required study books. Including a vast study room with late hours is also present in the campus. Many of the clubs for dancing, singing, social work and others are present.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are average. Then the food is okay. There is a vast number of hostels in Parul University with different amenities. The menu will differ daily. There will be special food on Sunday lunch with sweets. The mess will be off of Sunday dinners.
