Remarks :
In my opinion, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) has the best infrastructure in Gujarat. Even NIRF ranked it first in 2016 for infrastructure. This was my reason behind opting for this college. The campus is huge, with four main buildings, each housing distinct programmes. The Auditorium is a fantastic venue for all major and little events. Aside from that, there are fields for every sport, as well as an excellent skating area.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My bachelor's degree is in petroleum engineering. Throughout my programme, I've seen that they have a really distinct teaching style. At the time of my study, courses were taught in collaboration with International University. Some students can also participate in a one-semester exchange programme. Direct instruction was given, with a heavy emphasis on industrial factors. They administer their own tests because the university is self-contained. Also, the research you conduct is excellent when supervised.
Placement Experience :
Placement and value were two of the most appealing aspects of university. They do an excellent job of placing pupils and strive for perfection. When I applied, the average income for petroleum engineers was Rs. 8 lakh and Rs. 4.5 lakh for others. They also hold placement training classes to help with the process. Because big names are vying for your job, the competition heats up. Faculty members are pleasant enough to assist students in making career decisions. However, getting a job in the company of your dreams is not easy.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
All of the courses are extremely costly. They charge the most in Gujarat. Here's my advice: if you're only interested in studies, it won't be a good deal unless you take advantage of the unique courses they offer, such as Petroleum. They provide several possibilities to get out, discover everything, and participate in all events in order to make it worthwhile. Research programmes are also beneficial since they provide sufficient funding to do quality research.
Campus Life :
PDPU's campus life is fantastic. Gujarati people are the most common. It's fantastic to live in a hostel and have that experience. There are several student clubs and activities for practically every interest. It's also bordered by other campuses, so there's no shortage of opportunities to interact with students. Despite being in a rural region, there are lots of grocery and outgoing facilities. There are grocery and stationary stores on campus, as well as a bank.
