Remarks :

BITS pilani got ranked at 6th by times of India with providing excellent opportunities in the filed of internships and job opportunities. My selection in the college was based upon my CAT scores and the marks I secured in my graduation and at last a interview round is held by the dean.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course was for 2 years which was further split into 4 semester with the first 2 semesters consisting of all the core subjects like marketing management, managerial economics, corporate finance, strategic management with the rest of the 2 semesters consisting of internship and specialisation with number of case studies, simulations, projects are provided by the highly qualified teachers in the college.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 848000 per year

Placement Experience :

Average salary gained in the college's placement drive was 15 lakh with the highest being at 45 lakh. College organises a very successful placement drive with companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Adobe, LinkedIn, HSBC, RBL arriving in the campus to provide students with placement offers. Students of my batch were eligible for the placement after the completion of the second semester.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

My fee was 8.4 lakhs for 2 years which included all the charges like admission fee, security, examination charges, tuition fee. There is tuition fee waiver for students scoring more than 90% percentile getting 20% and students scoring between 80-90 get 15% tuition fee waiver. Scholarships are provided on the basis of merit and income of the students parents with sports scholarship provided followed by government and state sponsored scholarship.

Campus Life :

Campus has a beautiful infrastructure with facilities like library, wifi, sports facilities both indoor and outdoor, computer labs are situated in the campus. The annual fest in the college consist of BOSM and OASIS which is just amazing with multiple clubs like marketing club, finance club, operations club beings one of them which are run by student council.

Hostel Facilities :

Twin sharing rooms are provided in the hostel and I opted for hostel facility with the total fee for 1 year being around 60 thousand with all the facilities like for and rent included. The food provided in the hostel is really good with four squared meals are provided every day. The room is well spacious with all the utilities are provided for the students to make the stay comfortable.

So we have placements starting from 2nd semester. But the problem is that the placement package is much less than expected. 3LPA and 4LPA are the minimum packages. The percentage of students getting placed is below average.

The Main objective to choose this course for me is to solve any real world problem that people are facing today, i just want to be an entrepreneur, find something which can help people and makes their job much easier. The main influence are my parents who runs a small business on their own, i just want to learn so much that i can build a successful company by my own by providing something best to the society and make their life easier. Good Student life

Admission:

The management course was very much interesting to pursue. I applied here for the MBA after giving this TSICET entrance. As per the TSICET scores which were 80 percent and my graduation percentage, I was able to get into this college to pursue the same course.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college worked brilliantly during my final semester. As all of us were given a good opportunity to enhance professional communication skills. Like I got placed in Wipro with a good salary as a junior marketing head.
