Remarks :

1- I applied for govt. colleges by taking JEE exam ang got a decent rank with 97 percentile but was not getting the good subject of CS in any good UNI. SO I gave VITEEE exam and I got a rank of 11000 and I decided to go for counseling for VIT. 2- No quota was availed 3- Admission Criteria : Candidates od DOB on or after 1 july 1999 are eligible for the 2021 batch. Indian National Completed/ Appearing for 12th exam More Eligibility criteria at vitee.vit.ac.in 4- I attended my counseling at Bhopal VIT. Where everybody has to choose their subject based on their ranks. When my rank got near I went for Information security and have to pay an admission fee to reserve the seats. We have the option to unenroll before starting of semester and fees will get refunded.

Course Curriculum Overview :

After Choosing Information Security, I got to know that it is more interesting than I thought. We had options to take any course based on our interests. This is the best part of VIT. We have FFCS every semester after first so we can choose any subject we want to study. There are 4 evening and 4-morning batches for Information security and Every batch has 65-70 students in it. The faculties are very well experienced and they teach very well by explaining everything. There are 3 exam in VIT, CAT 1 CAT 2 (2 term exams) monthly and FAT(final exam)

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships in 3rd year. COmpanies visited are MOTORQ with 1,20000 monthly stipends, Microsoft with 80k stipend and many finance-related companies with 60k. Lots of VIT Incubation companies are there to gain experience starting from 1st years. Lots of projects working to be a part of.

Placement Experience :

Placements are too awesome. Recently WIPRO took 670 mann. Almost 7k companies visit every year and scopes are high. Highest package can get to 60 lacs form MOTORQ , Microsoft etc. Record of more than 90% placed students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees sructur is littlt bit high as per my thinking but it provides a lot of opportunity as it's a private college. Top 1000 rankers get scholarship and their fees gets reduced based on theor ranks. From 3rd year Internships get started and It is really awesome.

Campus Life :

Life at Campus is reallllly amazing. We get to meet so many people from different areas. There is no bullying at all and seniors are so amazing and friendly. Annual Fests: Gravitas (Tech Fest) and Rivera(BEST fest of country) MAny intenration students come during these fests. Library is so huge we can find any book and journals w=you can take daily newspapers in yyour room free and issue any book from library. Classroom ic good with good ventilation and windows. Many sports ground from football, cricket, basketball, volleball, tennis and may more sport ground is there bot internal and external. VIT is famous for their clubs and communities 100s of them are there and you can be part of any by just simple interview and interest.

Hostel Facilities :

Room is of various types and you have to chose on your interest. 1 person 2 person 3 , 4, and 6 with both options of AC and NON AC. Room cleaning always available. Laundry available every 3 days. Food is good 3 times food regularly, special on occassions. We have to choose the hostel after admission online and pay for it before starting of semsester. PG is not very good here , hostel is way better for staying.

Hostel Fee : INR 85000 per year

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
