Remarks :

The admission process is very simple u have to appear for jee main exam and then apply for JAC Chandigarh counselling. According to your rank, u will get admission. There is no home state quota. Criteria for admission is that u should have 60% aggregate marks in PCM and 12th passed.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is up to what the companies needed for hiring a student and also its match up with the competitive exams like gate. In a semester the faculty to student ratio is 10:60. All the faculties either have done masters or PHD. Some teachers really put their all effort into teaching and some are quite lazy. In a semester there are 2minors and 1 major. Best of 2minors is considered giving you the opportunity to improve your marks, for an average student. it is easy to clear the exams. 40% in a subject is the minimum to get passed.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 99684 per year

Internships Opportunities :

From the 5th semester, some start-ups come to hire for internships. Faculty members give regularly some tasks for the project. Faculty members and students combined made HAND GLOVES for Diagnosing a patient like calculating sugar level, blood pressure e.t.c.

Placement Experience :

After the 7th semester student is eligible for campus placement. Top recruiters are Amazon, Goldman Sachs, American Express, Samsung, Deloitte and many more approx 50-60 companies visit. The highest Package 41 LPA and Average Package is 7LPA. Around 90% of students in cse gets placed. My plan after getting the degree is to get placed in top companies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Total course fees of 4 years are 4 lakh, examination fees for 4 years are 18000. there are many scholarships for students like Merit cum means, Orphan or single parent child, Single Girl child And freedom fighters e.t.c. On campus, around 55 companies visit for jobs.

Campus Life :

Umag, Goonj and many more fest are conducted every year by different clubs, seniors and faculty members. All books are available in our AC Joshi library also we have our online library. Fully Ventilated classroom, neat and clean. Sports grounds are here to groom ourselves and many activities are held. DEBSOC CLUB, Mitra Club, Euphoria Club, Osmium Club, Imagen Club and DCU dance club.

An honest review of chandigarh university

Placement Experience:

Another main reason which I joined chandigarh university was placements. We all were promised good placements but this was another harsh truth which I got to know in my second year. No one gets placement easily. Girls are preferred more for placements. We become eligible for placements after 5th semester. Most companies which come here offer 3-4 lacs like tcs, Accenture etc. The highest package is which I have seen is 12 lacs but they do adverise that their students get package worth of crores which I hardly believe. When I joined, I was told that there is an 85% of students getting placed but in the last batch alone, thousands of students were unplaced. I am searching for jobs off campus as I have no hope of getting a placement on campus. If I do not get any off campus offer then I will pursue my master's and definitely from a different university.

Highest package is 24 lakhs average is 6 lakhs. Above 80 percent of students are placed. I plan is take campus placement in 3rd semester.

All about the College (CU)

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good but this year no of placement is less as compare to the last year. In B.E. From 6 semster student were eligible for placement and all this big MNC visit the campus for placement like Infosys, Microsoft,etc.this 9000+ offer were there. Near about 70% student get placement. My plans after the degree I want to became the data analytics after the completion of course.

My views on chandigarh University

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students will be eligible for campus placements. The top MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart etc. But there will be 100% placements to every student. The highest package is 34.25 lakhs per annum and the average will be like 8-12 lakhs per annum. My plan is after getting the degree is to do an MBA.

Chandigarh University Review

Remarks:

College is very good in almost all the fields and provides all the needs needed by the students. college management system is really awesome. BAD REMARKS:- There are only few teachers who does not have enough knowledge regarding that subject. therefore teachers must be appointed by really considering his/her skills and knowledge. Overall. CU provides very good facility and enviroment to grow and moving ahead.
