Remarks :

I applied for BBA and hospitality management in various public and private colleges like DU, Symbiosis, Narsee Monjee. But Design being the core interest JD Institute of fashion technology seemed a perfect choice. Moreover, the demand for designers in the upcoming years is likely to reach heights. In JD Institute, first we have to apply for the desired course. Then there is an entrance creativity test, in which young Designers have to design a product practically. The product is not of proper size but a replica. For fashion students, they have to design clothes as an entrance criteria. The students then get shortlisted for further discussions. The selected Students get proper counselling regarding the whole curriculum as well as the fee structure of the programme. Moreover they are given a brief about the internships and placements drive in the beginning as well. The student gets enough time to make a decision for himself or herself.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty is extremely amazing. They attend all our doubts properly whenever it arises. Each student gets proper individual attention. They start preparing us for the final placement interview right from the beginning. Moreover, we get practical knowledge more as compared to theoretical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are offered very nicely. Before that also there are various workshops and events briefing us about the same. Real-life projects are handed over to students so that we all get exposure of the real world

Placement Experience :

More than 92% of students get placed in the placement drive organised. Companies like ARTFORM India, Filo Deisgns, Twenty North are top recruiters. There are internships offered to get an experience about the outside world way before going through the placement thing.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are quite satisfactory considering they are offering a double degree programme to undergraduate students. The fees include our 3-year graduate as well as diploma fees. The chances of fee hikes are extremely less in this college

Campus Life :

JD Institute of fashion technology is next to the Hauz Khas. This makes the social life of students pretty active. There's a whole lane for cafes and restaurants just like DU. The societies will start soon as well

Amazing Experience

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for campus placements after the sixth semester. The college faculty members help the students to create their portfolios for the industry. After getting the degree, I would look forward to a job in a good company which the college will help me to find. I want to get a job first, and then start my own business.

Remarks:

This is one of the finest college for interior designing as a lot of colleges do not offer interior designing. This college includes a wide range of fashion courses which helps a person to choose from we have our own freedom and no boundaries for anything.this helps us to make sure that we deliver the best of the work for our faculty and the client later on.The only sad part is that this college is small and we don’t have a big lawn so we can sit and do our work but with the rooftop we can.

Admission:

Placement Experience:

The job placement is fine. The school has a online portal to go after the position, and everything is informed there. Around 70-80 organizations have come in 1.5 months, which is acceptable. The record of positions stands to be 75% of the bunch yet the establishment specifies 97%. Fashioner, beautician, merchandiser, visual originator are probably the most widely recognized jobs in the design field, and therefore occupations of these jobs can be seen on the gateway. The base bundle from which the arrangements start is 3 lakhs for every annum. Also, If we sit for placements, we cannot say no to any firm (no matter what the reason is), if they want to hire us. Even if there are two companies who wants to offer us a job, we are not even given liberty to choose which one would be better for my personal growth; the one which says yes first I will have to go with it and if you say no you will be banned to sit for any other interview.
