Remarks :

Admission to the programmes in chandigarh university is conducted through CUCET and JEE . Eligibility criteria: Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

Course Curriculum Overview :

All faculty members are well qualified and helpful to all students equally. They have both theoretical as well as practical knowledge about their particular subject. Students get ready for the industry because mechanical engineering has a scope in every type of industry as it includes all the knowledge of technical branches. The student-to-faculty ratio is about 12:1 in our University.

Class Size : 78Course Fees : INR 164000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

CU offers over 200 degree and diploma courses under multiple streams, such as Engineering, Management, Science, Pharmacy, and more whose total fees ranging is 8 lakh - 12 lakh .Chandigarh University Scholarships are CUCET Scholarship in which 100 % tuition waiver if score is 90-100 . and merit-based scholarship is provided.

Campus Life :

The hostel is pretty good. The infrastructure is good. Unlimited Wi-Fi is available. Study tables are available in rooms. A library is available. Many different blocks are there, and you can select your preference. Lifts are also available, and gardens are present in every block. Placement Experience:

For third semester students are eligible for campus placement. Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hitachi and many more companies are visit for placement in chandigarh university. Highest package is 24 lakhs average is 6 lakhs. Above 80 percent of students are placed. I plan is take campus placement in 3rd semester.

All about the College (CU)

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good but this year no of placement is less as compare to the last year. In B.E. From 6 semster student were eligible for placement and all this big MNC visit the campus for placement like Infosys, Microsoft,etc.this 9000+ offer were there. Near about 70% student get placement. My plans after the degree I want to became the data analytics after the completion of course.

All You Need to Know About Dr.SSBUICET , Panjab University Chandigarh

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is 93 percent this year . Companies start visiting department in the month of September. Students are eligible for placement as they enter in the final year (7 semester) . The average package is around 5.5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is 12 lakh per annum. Students can go in field of pharmaceutical industry, oil and petroleum, fertiliser, paints, chemicals etc . Or students can opt for higher studies masters, MBA , abroad opportunities. Around 45 companies visited for placements with average 5 offers per company.

The placement are good, you will see many companies visit the campus such as Amazon Google Wipro TCS connivance Accenture Deloitte and many more. The main baad thing is their placements is that if you get a offer from any company irrespective of package then you have to accept and there is no option to deny the offer aane of you don't join then you will get debated from placement process.

Remarks:

I chose this college because I was not able to get admission in pec and this college was the only option. Academics wise its good. Faculties are good. The bad side is the college life you expect its almost zero there. No social life. There are only 5-600 students in the campus. And pretty bad cafeteria.

Admission:

To get the admission here you have to appear for jee mains. And according to the cutoffs you will get the admission. I prepared for it with my normal tutions.
