Remarks :
I have applied to degree courses and polytechnic college. I got admission first in computer hardware engineering I joined and then I am applied to transfer to the electrical department and for my luck, there is a vacancy and I got the seat.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college experience was very nice and The teachers who I met there is totally inspirational. Their attitude and friendliness were totally awesome. Their deep knowledge and experience enable them to convey thier message to us, they prefer different types of teaching methods for clarification of topics. I'm totally pleased with the teaching quality. This college will help you in building your self-confidence and self-belief as you are the only person who can help you in every situation. The Curriculum is also relevant enough. The semester exams aren't a nightmare for us. One can easily crack the exam even with little preparation. There won't be any out of syllabus, or complicated questions all will be focused on core subjects and their applications. Only 40% of the total mark is only required for passing the exam.
Placement Experience :
Totally 67 students are pursuing in my class, the 60 students are placed according to the merit score and the rest of them were entered via Lateral entry (directly to the second year). Some of the top recruiting companies are Infosys, L&T, Ashok Leyland, MRF, Powergrid and various other companies. They have offered a minimum package of 10000 per month, The maximum offered was around 18000 per month. So we can conclude an average of 14000 per month. Besides some, these companies offered travelling allowance, accommodation facilities and various incentive programs. Around 50% of students appeared in placement offers depending upon their index score. Some of them got placement on Infosys, MRF and in some other companies. They mainly seek the assistant engineer, Analyst, CAD technicians, designers.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
This is one field that relies more on skill set than on your marks and this is one field of study where there is immense scope of in-depth study of the core subjects.besides carrier oppertunities is are vast. The union election is conducted in November. The Arts and sports will be conducted on month of January. The winners will receive prizes as well as they will be trained for participating in the interpoly fest. If you get good grades there you will get grace marks.we have free WiFi. The campus is located a little bit off the town but it is yhe apt location because it gives the ambiance. One can apply for e-grantz if they are eligible,by doing this you don't have to pay any fees. For extracurricular activities NSS, NCC, IEDC will help you on the way. They have done remarkable works for the welfare of the campus as well as for the society.
Campus Life :
Our college is a nice one. Our college is a centre of excellence and is one of the most reputed institutions of Kerala. Different sets of labs for each department. science labs, Drawing room, FAB lab, Transportation facilities, Quiet and peaceful atmosphere, auditoriums, freshwater dispenser, Clean and tidy surroundings and so on. Classes are spacious and have plenty of natural light and fresh air. All the classrooms have electrical connections for lights, Fans and power outlets. Hostel for boys and girls are available, and it can accommodate more than 250 students in total. The quality of service is good. Hygiene Canteen with yummy dishes at a cheap rate. A Sports Centers with Gym.
