The great Palakkadan Poly

The colleges that I have applied for admission are Government polytechnic college Palakkad, Institute of Printing Technology, and Government Polytechnic College Shoranur. The quota availed for my admission is Technical High school which has a 10% reservation. The admission is based on the tenth level, the mark of sslc is considering for diploma. The subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Maths are the important subject which has higher values.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering is one of the most relevant courses. We can start our own repairing shop. There is so many job opportunity in this field. In this course, 60 students are admitted for study. 3-year course after completing this we can get a certificate for completing this course. Lab facilities and digital classrooms are available. The 3-year course is split into 6 semesters after each semester examinations are conducted. The duration of each semester is almost 3 months, After the exam results are published

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we cannot get internships in companies. For completing the course internship is necessary so that the college was decided that completing a course in Coursera and submitting the certificate is necessary to complete the course. The main project, seminar presentation are held online due to the covid-19 pandemic.

Some of the top recruiting companies are Infosys, L&T, Ashok Leyland,MRF, Powergrid and various other companies. They have offered minimum package of 10000 per month,The maximum offered was around 18000 per month. So we can conclude average of 14000 per month. Besides some these companies offered traveling allowance, accommodation facilities and various incentive programs. Around 50% of students appeared in placement offers depending upon their index score.some of them got placement on infosys,MRF and in some other companies.They maily seek for assistant engineer, Analyst,CAD technician, designers.

In government colleges only for admission and exam fee are charged. At the time of admission 1500 Rs is charged. For those who have reservation the fee reduces. Examination fee are less if you have scholarship like eegrant the exam fee is free. Eegrant scholarship is eligible for only those whose annul income is lessthan 1 lakh.

The union election is conducted in November. The Arts and sports will be conducted on month of January. The winners will receive prizes as well as they will be trained for participating in the interpoly fest. If you get good grades there you will get grace marks.we have free WiFi. The campus is located a little bit off the town but it is yhe apt location because it gives the ambiance. One can apply for e-grantz if they are eligible,by doing this you don't have to pay any fees. For extracurricular activities NSS,NCC, IEDC will help you on the way. They have done remarkable works for the welfare of the campus as well as for the society.
