Remarks :

RIMS is the top medical college in Jharkhand. It's under the top 50 medical colleges in India. No, I haven't availed of any quota for admission. Admission criteria are very easy but it's offline. All the admission procedures occur in our auditorium hall. AIR rank below 10000 is safe for admission. Marks doesn't have much importance because it varies with the Rank every year but as per today's scenario, 600 plus marks is safe for the general category. All the admission process is offline. We have to take our related documents ( neet admit card, marks sheet, 10th mark sheet, caste certificate, 12th mark sheet, passing certificate, migration,tc etc). It's a very easy and comfortable process, the only thing you have to do is to wait for your turn.

Course Curriculum Overview :

MBBS is my dream course. That's why I have chosen it. There is enough faculty to take care of all the students. There are HODs, professors, tutors and our senior pgs. They all are very supportive. They are enough to clear your doubts. Faculty students ratio is about 1per 30 students. You should know that all the faculties are also a doctor. They have completed their MBBS and all of them are very qualified. The only thing we MBBS students bother about is our examination because examination occurs so often that we don't get time to relax. And of course, it's timely. You get your result timely. Everything is fixed.

Internships Opportunities :

You have to do 1 year compulsory internship in the same college. They provide 30k monthly for that. It's a handsome amount of money for an intern student. You have to work in all the wards as per the schedule.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It's a government college with nominal fees structure. For admission, it takes hardly 15000 thousand for male and 10000 thousand for female general category students. Hostel fees are 3500 per annum. For scholarship, you are free to apply in ekalyan.

Campus Life :

Our annual fest is Palash. It's a very enjoyable moment for all of us. There are many events in which maximum of us take part such as cricket, racing, football, singing, dancing, debate and many more. The library is always open 24*7. You can issue books and can read there. There are abundant books available there. All the classroom is well maintained with AC, fan, stage, projector, mike, sound system. There is a cricket ground, football court, badminton court, volleyball court, table tennis. Many clubs are run by students example cultural society, music, dance, literature society, quiz society etc.

Hostel Facilities :

You all get a single room for a single student with a fan, table, chair, bed, and light. You can also decorate your room as per your wish. You can also install AC. Mess is awesome here. Food quality is like our home. Its charges are 2800 per month which I think is less than normally they should take. You'll get a hostel on the same day of admission. Only you have to do is to fill a form and submit it. Yes, it's available but you definitely don't want to go there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am doing MBBS that too from AIIMS its like one of the most tough course on this planet we are constantly learning and improving ourselve. Being a doctor is an honour and that too from AIIMS is so pridefull. The curriculum is tough no doubt about it the syllabus is very vast and there are a lot of things to learn. But all in all its is doable. There are lot of practical clasea which help us to retain concept the faculties bring animation in their presentation whic help us to remember thing for long time. Exam are very regular in my collages. Even now we might be first collage of this country to finish first year. We have regular part completion test(PCTs) every 3 months we have a terminal with viva and all. Basically the college teaches us the best and expect the best out of us

Course Curriculum Overview:

The academics of the college in as one would expect from an Institute of National importance. The faculties here are either from Aiims itself or from the top-notch state colleges with Fellowships from UK or US and there is not even an ounce of doubt in their proficiency. The classes are mostly of interactive type, there are group discussions presentations and tutorials. The lectures are also very open in respect to doubt clearing keeping in mond the neccesary atticates as expected from a student in a professional course. The schedule of the exams are provided around the starting of the session and that is strictly followed. The exams dont get postponed whatever may be the reason. Most of it make it through the exams. The questions asked are not that tough that they cant be solved even after a thorough understanding of the concepts. A review is taken of all the faculties in that professional year at the end of the year and the highest rated faculty is felicitated by ED sir.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become a doctor that's why I have chosen this course. There is considerably less faculty in some departments but overall many departments have sufficient faculty to deal with the students. All the faculty are doctors by profession and they are highly qualified. There are 3 terminals in each year during 4.5 years of MBBS. These exams are neither too difficult nor too easy to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is divided into 4 yrs with 9 semesters. There are a total of 19 subjects to study. 3 in 1st year, 4 in 2nd, 3 in 3rd, and rest in 4th. Each subject has its own departments and the doctors who are in that department- professors, associate, and assistant professors, tutors teach the students. Lectures are given to 150 students together and practicals and hospital duties are taken by dividing students into various groups for better interaction. There are 2 types of exams- internal and external. Internal exams are 3 terminals which consist of theory, practical, and viva. In these 3 you've to be sent up in atleast 2 to appear for the external exam of that year. The passing mark is 50% and the sent-up is 37%. The external exam is conducted by the respective University to which the college is affiliated. For passing the year you have to pass University exams ( theory, practical, and viva) by atleast 50%. After 4th yr, there is 1 yr compulsory internship to get the degree.
