Being with so many kind of students from different backgrounds sometimes causes trouble and insecurity.

Entrance Preview :

As computers was my passion i took BCA in CU. I want to become a software developer CU is helping me bringing out the best within me. I took admission on the basis of my 12th standard marks.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course focus on building the basics of computers to advance programming. A student from a non technical background also feels it easier to complete BCA as compared to engineering. BCA focuses on providing depth knowledge of computers. Software development is common in bca.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes. They came to college but since i am a second year student i dont know about the stipends provided. Major ones was flipkart, lenskart, grofers, food panda. etc.

College Events :

University regularly helds a cultural and tech fests every year. Bringing out the hidden talents of many students. festivals are really huge and mass participation is there.Many singers and stars usually come to visit campus and entertain students. Tech fests are really huge showcasing many projects and researches carried out by students

Fee Structure And Facilities :

35,000per semester is the fees for bca. It is feasible to me as compared to bca offered by other colleges in the region.The university also provided many quotas and scholarships to economically weaker students and girls students.hostel and mess is really very good. The fees is also quite reasonable also university helps to provide educational loans to the needy students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships based on sports quotas, girl child and sc/st students are provided. Also students with glamorous marks are given special concessions and scholarships. Campus has a sbi bank which provides the students with study loans.

Campus Life :

Campus life is amazing with many food joints and entertainment sites. Univ has a large ground and really very beautiful. Student from all races and religion are present. Students from international countries also coming to oersue studies. Politics is not present which helps students to focus on studies.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel food is really very nutrious and tasty providing us the energy to do daily tassks efficiently. Hostels is very large having 6 blocks for boys and 3 blocks for girls. Average hostel costs you 30000 per year. Rooms are available for sharing as well as single bed.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes they are very helpful to me. Teachers pay attention to every students.seniors also helps with the projects and assignments. Also sometimes you get the notes and subject materials.

Exam Structure :

Yes. Sometimes it goes hectic sometimes its very chilled out. Exams are held every semester with internal tests, quizess, presentations and problems solving sessions. Labs are of programming subjects varying from cpp, c, html, css, jva script, visual basic.

Faculty :

The faculty is really good. All the teachers were passed out from reputed colleges of our country. They really help the students to find their passion and make them succeed by their great teaching methods. The teachers have Ph.D and technical backgrounds. They know what students goes through and tells us what to avoid and how to achieve success in life.

Chandigarh university pros and cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this university because of the exposure they're providing and the tests they give plus the scholarships are amazing and the curriculum prepares you for the industry with top notch learning opportunities but on the other hand teachers need to work a bit on their delivery skills
