Remarks :
I filled my admission form online by going to the official website of Chitkara University. For eligibility, you must be a graduate with minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Other than that you need to appear either in CAT or MAT. I gave MAT.
Course Curriculum Overview :
After completing my bachelor's, I felt like doing MBA will be the better option, that's why I choose this course. The faculty is very good and hardworking. Even though they teach us online, I can still feel the efforts that they put in to deliver every single lecture.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are a very important part of our curriculum and the university also provides internship opportunities but they also told us that if we can find an internship on our own that's also okay. I did my internship at LG and they gave me the stipend of Rs. 5000.
Placement Experience :
Students of the 3rd semester become eligible for campus placement. There are many companies that are visiting right now on our campus like ITC, Deloitte, Dabur, PAYTM, etc however one thing I have noticed is that they are offering fewer packages as compared to the previous year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Chitkara has a good reputation among the other colleges in the north and also the fee structure here for MBA I feel like is nominal. It will cost you around Rs 2 lakh to study MBA from here. They do provide scholarships to students having good rankings in CAT or MAT.
Campus Life :
I don't think until or unless this covid thing vanishes from our lives there's gonna be any fest in the near future. However, our faculty told us about the annual fest and tech fest that used to happen on the campus.
Interview Experience :
Okay talking about the group discussion, they didn't conduct that as far as I remember. But I do go for an interview. The interview was not that tough, all they want is to know more about you and your abilities so just stay confident.
