Entrance Preview :
I got admission through management quota, on the basis of my 12th percentages. They take admissions on merit basis for the 15 percent seats reserved for management according to the norms of UPTU. Forms are taken above 80% aggregate in PCM.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is according to the norms of UPTU ( uttar pradesh technical university) now a days known as A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. All the books related to curriculum are provided by college from library for semester basis and they are to be returned after the semester.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, the college provide internships in alliance with various companies whose excellence centres are there in the college. But no stipend is provided by the college, we have to pay fee for every industrial training we want to have. Certificates are provided when you clear the exam related to the training like for NI clad and CLA are conducted.
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunities are better in comparision to normal UPTU colleges except few. There is a training and placement department which take care of the placements of all eligible students. Various companies visit the college whole year, all having different criterion, but student must posses at least 75% attendence to sit in placement drives and college is very strict about it.
College Events :
There are Various events conducted all over the year. Some technical events are conducted by technical societies, and one inter college technical fest tech trishna is conducted for 2 days every year, zonals are also conducted by university which are state level comp. Cultural fest vibration lasts for 4 days including various cultural events.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is according to the norms of UPTU and it varies year by year, its nearly one lakh thirty thousand. Hostel fee is 85000 for three seater, 90,000 for double seater and 95000 for single seater.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No scholarship facility is provided by college itself. But government of up provides scholarship for academically sound students provided the student is completing attendance criterion of university for which college is too strict.
Exam Structure :
External Exams are conducted by UPTU and college has no role in it. Internal exams are conducted in college itself. There are three internal exams in a semester, two sessional exams and one pre university exam. Other then these there are two class tests in a semester and these all decide your internal marks together with your attendance.
Admission :
The forms for management quota admissions starts just after the board results, forms are entertained only if u score above 80% in PCM. English and optional subjects are not considered. Forms are to be collected from college main gate and they are to be submitted there only. After the forms collection and counselling is over college calls you personally on merit basis approximately upto july end or august starting.
