Entrance Preview :
MHCET 162 ,I gave Maharashtra state CET exam and scored 162. I opted for this college because it has good placements, faculty is experienced and amazing. The extra-curricular activities are well focused on and well it was also in the same city as my hometown.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always had a good interest in computers. I had also researched on the internet about the courses that are included in the Pune University Computer Engineering course. Most of them were of my interest and in which I would like to work for the rest of my life. Inputs from seniors and friends also helped me choose the branch and the courses offered.
Internships Opportunities :
No, Our college does not allow us to do internship during our college years. We have a final year project instead.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees structure of the college is feasible but on an expensive side, with all the other expenses that a typical engineering college has to bear. The fee structure increases throughout the four years of college. The fees that I paid during my college years was I think about 80 k-100 k per year.
Exam Structure :
Exam structure followed is that of Pune University. We follow a semester pattern. We have practical exams at the end of the semester. We also have orals and then the written exams which are subjective. The passing score for all the exams is 40 out of 100.
Admission :
After the CET scores were out, we had to fill a form giving options of the colleges and the branch in those colleges. After the lists were out, e were allotted the college and the branch. If the college you got was the same you opted for, we paid the fees and took admission. If not, we had to wait for the next consecutive rounds.
Faculty :
The faculty for each of the subjects were the subject experts. Most of them were post graduated in their respective subjects and taught with vigour. The queries were resolved from time to time and we got great help during our final year project. All of them also encouraged us to take part in the extra-curricular activities as well.
