Remarks :
The admission was strictly under keam marks and 12th result. After the keam results. The qualification for KEAM is 10th marks in both exams. After Keam results we can apply in the portal with the 12th and 10th class grade. And according to the availability of seats of the colleges that we applied we will get the call from the college and there will be a small interview and they will allow us to see the college and if we like the college and the ambience we can take admission there. The KEAM portal gives us specific reservation for individuals from sc obc , physically challenged persons and for Students who are belongs to below poverty line. They also provide special reservation for orphans too.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I opted for the Computer Science and Engineering branch. The course consists of 4 years or 8 semister There will be around 45 students in each branch and about 10 facilities for each department. The teachers will be having either a doctorate or master degrees. The teacher is very friendly and the teaching is also very good. There are 6 courses in a semester. 6 modules will be there for 1 course. Seperate test will be there after each module and after 2 modules there will an internal in total we will be having 2 internal for 1 course in one semester and its mark will be the qualification criteria for writing sem exam we should scarce aggregate of 22.5 out of 50 from 2 internals for writing the exam. Semester exam will be conducted by the university by itself we should score 45 percentage from the sem exam for clearing that paper.
Internships Opportunities :
From the 2nd year onwards (3rd semester) college will provide internship facilities and and every student to complete this course have to attend a minimum of 2 internships. Many companies like grapes technologies are providing us with this facility. The internship will be having 5 days and the companies will teach us what will be the real job of an Engineer. They will also provide us with a small stipend and the best among students will be awarded. The main outcome of this internship is the experience that we are getting in that 7 days. Overall it will give us a great experience and idea from college life itself about what we will be doing after our graduation. For me,, it is the greatest outcome from the internships.
Placement Experience :
Students are getting regularly placed from our college. Mainly from the 7th semester onwards, companies will start recruiting the students. During the 8th semester, lots of companies will come for the placement. And really lot of students and getting placed too. Companies like Wipro, Toyota, grapes technologies etc and many local software companies too are coming for the campus placement. They will be offering around 3 lakh per annum for a freshly placed student. The highest salary packages will be around 5 lakh per annum and the lowest is like 1.5 lakh per annum. From our campus, around 75% of students are regularly getting placed and they are very happy too. My plan is also for getting a job after this degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college is providing special scholarships for students who have scored good marks in class plus. Students who scored more than 90% in class 12th only have to pay 10% of the regular fee of the college. The regular fee structure of the college is about sixty thousand per year but if anyone scores a good percentage in a test that conducting by the college before admission we will be having a discount on the fees. Exam fees are also there under KTU. We have to pay 1200 every semester for registering for the exam. The supplementary fee is 200 and for revaluation, it is 600. Overall financially we college is providing good support.
Campus Life :
The holy grace campus is very good. We will really enjoy or love to spend time on our college campus. College is mainly conducting the annual fest and tech fest in the even semester. Every year they will conduct the same. Arts fest is also conducting by the college the best performer will get a chance to perform in the annual fest. They will be awarded too. Holy grace academy has a large library with numerous books from different publishers for the engineering department. Students can refer and if necessary they can take the book for 15 days. The library also provides free magazines, newspapers, a system with an internet facility and also free wifi too. The sports day is conducted in 3 days 2 days for the games and 1 day for the athletics. The best performers will be selected to the college team for the further university meets. College also has a number of clubs and an FM radio station that runs by the students. The main clubs are football, cricket, dance, music etc. Overall the campus is excellent.
Hostel Facilities :
With no doubt, I can say that our campus provides one of the best hostel facilities. The hostel is just 100meter away from the college. The hostel provides free water, Free electricity, free wifi, free food and the yearly fee of the hostel is just about seventy thousand. The hostel has 2 different kinds of rooms. 1) individual 2) shared. The quality of food is just awesome they provide both vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods we can choose what we want. Seven days they provide 7 different kinds of food. And on Fridays, there will be only vegetarian food available at the canteen. The registration process for the hostel is simple at the time of admission if it's necessary for hostel facilities we can take admission there we have to deposit 10000 as a caution deposit and it's done. Our college is situated 3 kilometres away from Mala town so a lot of rental room facilities are also available for students who cannot afford the college hostel and rental room are 100% safe too.
