Remarks

I have applied for DR. AMBEDKAR college and I got that. Basically, I wanted to go there only I like the college and there was a sport's tournament also yeah I loved the college. And about the admissions criteria, the minimum percentage was required by 50% and I have got 63% And I liked that the lower cast can apply with the less percentage of 50% and I have applied through open caste and I got admission in 2nd list. And the minimum age required is 16. And the admission process is also so simple after you got your name on the list and you can do Admission on or the next day in college just have to submit few documents and pay the fees. The one more facility is that I can pay the fees in installments. After this, they confirm the admission and give the fees receipt. For this process it take will take few hours not a day.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I have chosen this course because I want to be a banker. And now also I am doing a part-time job in HDFC Bank. And this was done by so many students and it's can't be easy to pass. The faculty for this course is more than 25000 students in a year and passes quantity 24400. The teaching method is good but the subjects like accounts, financial statements, taxation, financial accounting, business economic, company laws, company accounting, this subjects are merely based on the theory that's why it's very difficult to learn and if you going give this than you have to work hard.

Fees and Financial Aid

In Ambedkar college the is comparatively less. Because BCom is doing by my friend also but his fees or FYBCOM is 10000 and mine is 6000/- so my college is also good comparatively not yeah but it's fine. People's get the scholarship from our college but they don't provide the job facility. But in my friend's college they the job from their campus that's it's good.

Campus Life

3.5

I went to college to study I have enjoyed it a lot. And about the fees comparatively less so that why I didn't check that for what they that fees. And the classroom is so bad and so small benches are there. The sports are so good yeah I really liked that they have the sports tournament or kabaddi, kho kho, food ball and all so I like that. There is no social group and clubs or websites are there or college run by students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very good on paper. University has given like 8 subjects from which we have to choose 5. But this college itself chooses 5 subjects and students now have to learn only them ... Like in 3rd year sem 5 there was subject international finance I wanted to study that because baf course is all about finance but the college had subject management. So yeah be prepared for this. My colleges reputation is not that great because other city students come too. So for about teaching it's average

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is recommended for the students who want to pursue a career in the finance field or if someone who is looking to a course like CFA, this bachelors degree becomes handy. This course teaches you about the financial spectrum of the whole world and gives you an intricate understanding about different financial instruments and their relevance in the society. It teaches one of the most sought after skills in today's world, that is financial literacy. Still I think some of the subjects introduced under the NEP are completely irrelevant such as EVS and IKS. We as college students need to give quality time on some professional subjects, not that these subjects are not important but they need to be emphasised in the early classes. There are three internal exams of 10 marks each and 20 minutes for each paper. The end sem exam is of 30 marks for minor subjects and 60 marks for major subjects. Also I feel that the difficulty level is okay.
