Remarks :

I have applied for SRM University and Bharath University. Among both, u found SRM University as best and having all the infrastructure needed. And SRM University is one of the leading universities in India which gives me a credit for my career search.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have completed my Bachelor's in Civil Engineering so I wanted to became a structural engineer so took this course. University having a good student and staff ratio. Most of the faculties don't have much exposure to their subjects. Even those faculties who are having multiple Ph.D. and senior faculties don't have any practical knowledge they just teach some theories. Only a few faculties will teach well, I have completed my master by the help of few faculties who have good knowledge of the subjects. Exams will be more challenging.

Class Size : 35Course Fees : INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

For this specific course, there is no intership or placement that came to campus. Mostly for core field Master courses, there won't be any placement on the campus. Only software-based master's degree campus interviews or internships will be there. In my department, as I mentioned before, the faculties are not at all knowledgeable based they just give some theoretical knowledge to us and we have to do everything. Most of the faculties will ask students to publish papers in facilities names to add those to their appraisal forms. There are some conditions given for faculties that every year every faculty should have published at least 10 journals. So they push students according to it.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure for the course little high when compared to other universities. I have not got any internship or placement in this department. Management hasn't tried to bring companies to the campus. They are mainly focused on software-related companies for campus drive.

Campus Life :

Class is all equipped with smart teaching methodologies. Most of the classes are not air-conditioned. Sports activities are good and you will get a lot of extracurricular experience in the college. There is a community radio broadcasted by students at the beginning of my course later it does not function well.

Green garden and awesome- NIT Trichy

Placement Experience:

After the 2nd semester and starting 3rd-semester students become eligible for campus placement. There is lot of companies visited like Google Microsoft tcs Wipro HCL L&T Infosys dailyhunt. Approx. 99% of students are getting placement. My plan is to get a job.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

In M.Tech second semester onwards internships will come and in fourth-semester, full-time employment opportunities will come almost 100 companies will visit in a year like an abb, bosch, GE, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Alstom, Volvo, Invention, Analog Devices, Nokia etc. The Highest package is about 20 LPA and the lowest was 3.6 LPA about 95 percent of students were being placed. After getting the degree I'll go for my job.

Admission:

In May we wrote the Entrance exam. And the mark is calculated based on the mark we score in the entrance exam and also the 12th standard marks taken in certain Percentage decided by the University Board. In one month they will announce the marks online or on the University Board. Then in a couple of days, counselling will happen.
