Remarks :

I applied for SRMJEE and on merit, I got the seat. The whole process of admission was online and was easy. Counseling was conducted online through their website. You have to upload your mark sheet and all certificates for verification and admission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was so much interested in automobiles so I chose automobile engineering for my career. The teachers here are qualified and up to mark. The faculty-student ratio is 1:13. Their teaching methods are very good. Each semester has three cycle tests and one final semester exam.

Class Size : 55Course Fees : INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

In the final year, we get many offers from companies for internships. They recruit the students if they efficient for their company. The internship gives experience to the students and that helps them in placement.

Placement Experience :

The placements here are excellent. Many students get their super dream jobs and dream jobs from the campus placement. Big giants like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, IBM, etc come to college for recruitment. The highest package offered was 1.1 crore from Microsoft.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Per year the fee is 2,50,000 lakhs. If you get a good rank in the exam then you are offered a scholarship from the college. So many companies come to college for internships and placements. Students can go to abroad countries and study there for a semester or a year from our college without paying any extra fees.

Campus Life :

The social life here is so chill. Here the students come from every part of the country to study and foreign students are also coming to study. There are so many clubs and groups in college based on all the departments. You can join any club.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
