Remarks :

I have done diploma in civil engineering from galgotia University , I have not applied from any quota , Admission criteria is basic above 60% in 10th and above 50% if you opt after 12th and Minimum age limit is 16 Admission process was easy and smooth, Management was friendly and guiding on each layer throughout the admission process

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had choose this course due to my interest in civil engineering , I am fond of structure and designs so decided to pursue this There are 1 teacher for one subject and for some subjects , there are two , talking on ratio , with individual class it was 1:80, All the faculty is B.Tech pass out and teaching method was good and most importantly their practical way of teaching helped me a lot to grab concepts There are two semesters in year and exam is easy if you study well

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I have done my internship in Larsen and turbo and roles offer under stipend was to look over site and manage the bills and work Project was a 36 floor building society And outcome was I have learneD many things from basics to advance and best part is I gain practical knowledge over working there

Placement Experience :

After 5 th semester , student is eligible for placement There are many companies like TCS,wipro,L&T and offers are made in huge quantity maximum students can get placed Highest package is offered was 8LPA and average package was 2.4 LPA Around more than 80% students get placed I would go for the higher education

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees is Nominal here so there is no issue of fees and cost to study is overall ok to satisfy their infrastructure and teaching facilities I didn't get any scholarships so I don't know about it But there are financial assistance for Quota students and on name of scholarship , there are some rewards on Course fees for toppers

Campus Life :

Every year annual fest and tech fest are conducted but their is No specific month , mostly it will happened in August or December Library is huge and all sort of books relevant to the study are available there Classroom is well versed with AC You don't have to worry about that , every type of sports and extra curricular activities are included in college There is a Cricket ground , Lawn tennis ground and for indoor games like carrom , air hockey will be available there There are several NGO run by college students

Hostel Facilities :

Basic facilities are provided there which is needed by students for their study Table, fan ,chair and bed and wardrobe Ac will be depend upon you, there will be extra charge for AC Meal is fine , we can't say it is best but it is somewhat okay Registration process is again easy ,you just have to contact management and they will guide you for everything and affordability is like It is somewhat expensive for a middle class background student Pg and room are available there but they are little far from the college and you have to drive through

Hostel Fee : INR 110000 per year

Interview Experience :

It was a easy part , you can speak in any language whether it is hindi or english Topics of GD are different for everyone and will be assigned 30 min before GD Interview ques will be based on 10th class science So it won't be much difficult Process was easy , if you fulfill their criteria , you can directly visit college and their management will guide you for everything. I have prepared for this rounds by revising my math and physics syllabus of 10th class and for GD , there is nothing much to prepare , you just have to be confident while speaking

Placement Experience:

Last year students are eligible for campus placement company started visiting for 5 semesters. Due to this, the placement is approx going to be 80 percent. Name companies visiting in my college are TVS, Volvo, Maruti, tcs, hero, hero bicycles, etc. The highest paying packages is 7.5 lakh per annum. And the lowest is 1.2 lakh per annum. 80 percent of students got a placement through college. The got placement I'm planning for placed directly from college to company.

The company offers 1.5 lacs to a 2 lacs annual package. There are 50 to 60% of students are taking placements.

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell unit which provides job Opportunity. Students after the 5th semester are eligible for placement. Many companies like Adani Power, Tata Motors, Vikas group industrial, Honda bikes, KIA motors etc comes to college campuses for placement. The average package offered approx 2 lakh per year. In mechanical engineering diploma, approx 50%student got selected in jobs. I also got selected in the rail coach factory raebareli in a 2 lakh package.

Remarks:

Positives Beautiful Campus : This might seem irrelevant to some, but the natural beauty is what comes to your rescue when you feel you have hit rock-bottom . Single Rooms : People have different opinions about this, but I have come to respect this particular facility at our campus. Location of campus (away from city) : This is a very subjective issue, but I think that the location of campus (distance from city) leaves us lesser distractions. Negatives :- Weak Alumni Base : Although it is definitely possible to achieve any goal in life without assistance from alumni, but their experience can definitely make the journey simpler for many. However, lately, many alumni of IIT Guwahati are connecting back with the student community and I am grateful to them for taking out their time for interacting with us. Single Rooms : Yes, I covered this in positives as well, but I think I must point out the cons of this facility. Students, especially in the first year, might feel lonely and find it hard to interact with others. A shared room provides you with one or more readily accessible friends whose privacy you can breach without asking, from day one. Mess : However the Mess System is undergoing a lot of changes, this is one aspect that has a lot of scope for improvement.

Remarks:

Bad is rules so strict good is that good environment and bad is that there is no WiFi. Now I think every college must be WiFi campus. And last think is that cell phone is not allowed I think now we are not a child. So they have to allow us to use or carry mobile inside the campus. Teacher is great good very supportive. Director sir is so strict but very caring.
