Entrance Preview :
Most of us didn't even know what to do with life until we are forced to make a decision and so forth but me. I always knew I had to become an engineer to I decided to choose this college. I got an AIR 9671 in JEE Advanced and that is considered a very good rank from where I come.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure is really fantastic. It is thoroughly developed to complete the need of an engineering student as well any technical one. Practical based tutorials are enjoyed by every student because the format is so clean and approachable. Despite some flaws the overall research quality is very good.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, most of the colleges now-a-days do provide internship to their students but unfortunately our institution do not provide us so.
Placement Experience :
Almost 95 % of the candidates who sat for the company interview got selected with about (on an average) 0.5 million rupees annual wages. The highest placed candidate negotiated on 1.2 million rupees annual salary. I do not all the companies but know that well, established companies did came to provide job to students. Some of them were like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, CSC etc.
College Events :
Our institution do organises technical, cultural, sports festivals and you wish you don't wanna miss any of them. Students from throughout the country participate in every other event and makes it a success among the folks. The participation is enormous but most importantly it is the quality that can catch you in the web.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees in our college is pretty much average. Even a student hailing from a middle class background can easily afford 40000 rupees per year. I wonder how they manage to pay each employee on campus by getting only 40 K rupees per student. Overall I would say and it is clear too that our college is by most means can be described as affordable.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As I already mentioned in my previous posts that annual fees of 40 K rupees is affordable and hence no student has to get in a queue for loan application. The institute does not provide it's own scholarship but it comes from state government for students of backward classes.
Campus Life :
According to a recent survey there are only 5 girls per 10 boys in engineering colleges and so in ours. The gender ratio is underwhelming but a great diversity of student body can be seen. Regular workshops are being held for students by students or sometimes by management but that's what college is.
Alumni/Alumna :
Now this is the part I love the most. The seniors are overwhelming. Alumni do their every effort to make this college way more better. Days and nights are filled with unmatched energy.
Exam Structure :
What an engineering student hates the most - EXAMS. It is a day of mixed emotion. Leaving exam hall is one of the happiest moment of a student's life but soon we realise that we're gonna have practical exams. Same old bunch of questions from the practical teacher is not so cherishing moment but tedious.
Admission :
Getting an admission in engineering college is literally not an easy task. Thanks to Blaise Pascal now the counselling process is fully computerised and online. But still I had to wait straight 4 hours in a queue for to my documents verified. The management of college is friendly and that made me happy for my decision to be right.
Faculty :
I heard somewhere that an institution is by it's students. Well, the writers probably forgot to mention that institution is by it's teachers as well. Teachers(faculty) and students are the two faces of coin that makes up an institute. Coming over my college, the entire faculty department is helpful and dedicated to their students.
