Entrance Preview :

GMAT +application. I scored 710 and I opted for ISB as it is the best MBA program in the country for experienced folks.

Internships Opportunities :

No, the is no internship scope in ISB since it is a year long program only. But students do get a chance of doing an Experiential Learning Program or ELP with a company.

Placement Experience :

95% of the batch is placed. Top companies include HUL, McKinsey & company, AT Kearney, Microsoft, Flipkart, Accenture, Deloitte, Cognizant. Average salary is INR 18 lakhs with the highest being around INR 50 lakhs offered by a boutique consulting company.

College Events :

At least 10-12 events are celebrated - one event per industry club. In addition to this, various festivals are also celebrated. ISB team participates and is among the top three in all top B-school related contests. Internal events see participation from 300-400 students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee is INR 25 lakhs which includes tuition and accommodation. Other living expenses include food , leisure etc. The fee structure is relatively expensive when you compare it to the other institutes which have 2 year programs.

Alumni/Alumna :

The ISB alumni community is very well connected and quite eager to help out. I have not personally used them but I hear many distances where the degrees of separation to the right job were brought down to 1 through the alumni network.

Exam Structure :

We have very frequent exams and graded assignments which add to the hectic life at ISB. One term is made up of 45 days and 4 subjects with 2 exams per subject per term. Students barely have any time during the first 3 terms for anything beyond acads.

Admission :

The first step is registering and starting your application. In order to complete the application you must have 4 things read- test scores, essays, recommendations and college transcripts. If your application is shortlisted, you get an interview call. You are offered an admission once you clear the interview.

Faculty :

The faculty is the USP of the institution according to me. We are taught by world class facility, among the best in their fields. At least 50 per cent of the faculty is visiting and outside of the class they are as good as our friends and would participate in all college events etc.

Remarks:

IBS has the reputation of one of the best B-Schools in the country, offering innovative and globally accepted programs and great opportunities for all-round development. I heard this from my college , who was a alumni of this institute and convinced me to pursue my Master?Ûªs from there. For online application, I filled the form available on the official website (www.ibshyderabad.org) followed by online application fee payment around ?â_1000. I had to submit 12th marksheet in which I scored 82%, graduation marksheet with 78% and appeared for CAT exam scoring 150 and deposited documents supprting work experience for at least 2 years. After following the process I got selected for personal interview round.

Admission:

I was called for the personal interview that was taken by team of 3 senior professors. They questioned me about current affairs and my opinion on certain issues. I was really confident in answering and able to answer all the questions. Finally I was selected!

Placement Experience:

From the 4th Semester, we are eligible for placements. As I'm the Second semester I have not attended placements, but I have attended internships a lot from the college. Avg package of college in the past few years are 5 LPA. First class students get opportunities more to get placements. By getting off from college I need to get a good placement and then wanna start a business by using the tips learnt from college.

From the third semester, regular MBA people will be able to sit in campus interview s. In the case of pgpxp students, the placenta will also generally start by the end of 3 semesters. It is 100 percent placement for the academic year 2019-20

Remarks:

Campus Life, exposure, AVG CTC. I have been in the college and I felt about various disciplines that the organisation teaches. Mentioned points are the reason for my selection of the college. It's easy then other colleges to get addmission in any one of IBS campuses but if you want IBS Hyderabad then you need to work on it.

Placement Experience:

I would say it's hard for you to get unplaced in the program though it may happen you wouldn't be getting your dream job but according to your performance you will be placed as placement cell team of IBS Hyderabad is good.
