Admissions at Maturi Venkata Subba Rao Engineering College are done based on the candidates’ performance in Entrance examinations.
UG Admission - Admissions are purely offered based on marks obtained in the intermediate examination and EAMCET Rank. 70% of seats will be allocated by the Convener of EAMCET under ‘A’ category. I was admitted to this college by attempting my TSECET. By opting for the colleges. In my first phase of counseling, I got a seat at Mallareddy University, Hyderabad, as it was far from my home town I went to the second phase of counseling. Because of this, I had my join in this college.

- In my college we really have experienced faculty, and their teaching level is also good even an avg student like me can also understand complex topics
- we even have a good play area, but the thing is we are not always allowed to play their.

- Those experinced faculty are not really willing to teach us they only teach concepts, if we ask them personally.
- The curriculum of our college is very old they are still teaching the same concepts from 20 years I wish they should have updated syllabus

The students who had written eamcet, IT are eligible to get a seat on this College. The students below 12000, can get a seat in computers science and engineering. The examination fee and other infrastructure fee should be paid to the college by student.

- Faculty of this college are knowledgeable. They have very mature mindset of teaching rather than imposing lessons om students
- Internship and placement training is good right from second semester and they encourage you to avail the opportunities

To admit into the college you have to secure a rank in ts eamcet. To get a seat in cse you may have to get around 6500 rank for Open category. The exam difficulty is moderate at the very least. The reserved categories can avail some concession in rank to get a seat.

My name is Manikanta Uppalancha.After completining my 12th,I attempted for Telangana EAMCET Exam which helps to enter into Telangana local Engineering colleges.I got 9039 rank in EAMCET.Then A notification had been published saying to apply for colleges.Then I applied for Colleges.I also Included MVSR Engineering College in my list.In the first counsiling,I got a seat in MVSR in IT stream. Iam OC so there is no reservation for me.In December 2019 I got a provisional allotment order and invited us to college on 21st Dec,2019.I fillled form and paid some miscillaneous fee about 12000/-.It comes under OSmania University and the sem exams were tough to crack.but the teachers are quite good in teaching subjects.And when it comes to placements,A lot of companies visited our college but the avg package is 4lpa which is less.I think they need to put more focus on College infrastucture and placements.Overall I can give 3 outof 5 rating .And there are no fests conducted.
