Entrance Preview :
JEE, I scored 65 marks. I opted for this college because it is one of the best colleges for doing bachelors in mechanical in GTU.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure is not so good. First 2 years of the bachelors are a total waste and you are not able to gain any practical knowledge. The course forces students to focus only assignments and stuff and the real practical knowledge which is really not good. Therefore the course is not up to the mark.
Internships Opportunities :
The college does not provide internship. For doing internship we have to find out companies where we want to do internship and do it there. The college does not provide for it.
Placement Experience :
The placements are adequate. If the performance of the student is good and satisfactory the student will most probably find placements. The job opportunities are not sufficient. There is a lot scarcity in job opportunities especially in branches like electrical and civil.
College Events :
There are all kind of events celebrated in our college. There are tech fests , cult fests everything. We also celebrate festivals like navratri and uttarayan. The cult fests include events dramas and dance competitions and singing etc. The tech fests are the best where there are robot making competitions and stuff. The participation is really good and lot of students take interest.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is feasible and quite affordable. The fee structure is 29,000 /- per semester. The fee is affordable in a sense and in compared to other to colleges. Just the problem in this college is that the college take more amount of money in other ways like taking fees for exams, activity points, I'd cards etc. Therefore the fees are affordable but the colleges scams in this type of other things.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is no scholarship or loan facility offered by the college. The college does not offer any kind of scholarships but discounts are offered by GTU only.
Campus Life :
The campus life is moderate and it is not up to the mark. The students level and standards are not up to the mark.The gender ratio is quite okay. there are as such no extra curricular activities but the college does offer many types of 1-2 days workshops. There are many debates and technical events organised by the college. The sports sector is not justified and the college does not entirely support it.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel or mess facilities at the college. There is canteen facilities only which is quite good. The facilities are not anything extraordinary. The facilities which are provided is transportation, seating classes and fans and lights in classes, bathrooms and labs.
Alumni/Alumna :
There is as such no alumni network in the college and if there is they are not of help at all. The senior students are quite helpful though and are ready to support and guide the juniors.
Exam Structure :
The exam structure is quite nice just the problem is that all the exams and submissions are taken in a very short period of time which is very hectic. There is no sufficient time given for completing the assignments and there are a lot of assignments and the exam dates are just after submission. So there is not so much time for the preparation of exams.
Admission :
I got the admission through ACPC. the process was that first a merit list was uploaded according to the marks scored in JEE and boards. And according to the rank in the merit list students could chose to opt for colleges they were eligible for. The eligibility was decided according to the rank.
Faculty :
The faculties are good also and bad also. most of the faculties are highly qualified but some are not. Some faculties are very nice in teaching and they make the subject interesting and they make you want to study more while some faculties careless about students and are not able to teach up to the mark.
