Internal written test and interview is conducted by IIT Indore. I scored 17 out of 50 in written test. As it has brand name IIT, so, choice is obvious.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty members of the discipline of Computer Science and Engineering are working in cutting-edge research areas. They are working on at least quality research. It is just on initial stage. You can hope that after 10-15 years, it may be in good shape. Faculty is ok. However, some faculty are hard working and really good.
Internships Opportunities :
The students are supposed to undergo summer internship as a part of their course curriculum. IIT Indore students underwent their summer internships at reputed foreign universities and companies after their third year of graduation. Indore is an industrial area. You will not face any problems for getting internships, as college have good relations with most of the industries. Stipend vary from 15K to 40K.

Exam Structure :
As per the Institute policy, mid semester examination (MSE) and end semester examination (ESE) are the essential components of the evaluation with a minimum weightage of 20% and 40% and maximum weightage of 40% and 60% respectively. Other components of evaluation such as quizzes, term paper, term project, home assignments, viva, etc. can constitute maximum weightage up to 40% ONLY.
Admission :
Notification releases in every 3 month. Fill the form online and then send the hard copy with 100 rupees DD. Selection process for admission to PhD program in discipline of Computer Science and Engineering consists of a written test followed by an interview. Syllabus of written test loosely follows the latest syllabus of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) for Computer Science and Information Technology.
Faculty :
Most of the faculty at Indian Institute of Technology, Indore are recruited after a very tough screening procedure and the recruited faculty are one of the best in their own fields. Most of the faculty are very experienced and have ample reputed publications when it comes to research. However most of them are strict to undergrad students.
