Remarks :

In my point of view after IITs SGSITS is the best college I know that evenly balances academics and extra curricular and students have great campus life

Entrance Preview :

I took almost all entrance examinations in including jee mains, jee advance, BITSAT, VIEEE, SRMJEE and qualified in all. Except jee advance. After that I was left to choose between low ranked NITs and SGSITS. I chose my college because it's the most prestigious college in the state(after MNIT) and also because it's in my home town

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is very vast yet deep and very well crafted. 1st year is basic and gives a general idea of every field of engineering but from second year it becomes branch specific and very well focused. We have electives like principles and practices of management which emphasizes on management part of a industry and for the technical part we have courses like mechanics of solids , mechanics of metallurgy etc.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes the college does provide internships but there is no survivor stipend so I can not comment on that

Placement Experience :

Placement and job opportunities are great as many renowned MNCs and complies come for placement. College Events :

SGSITS is known for its culturalanf tech fests. Recently we had graffathon that was a 36 hour non stop wall painting event where over 500 student participated... It was huge and that's just one... SGSITS is very active in extra curricular activities and can be seen hosting events year long. Other such events are kshitij pratibimb ojasva avahan etc

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is very nominal when compared to other private institutions as it is govt aided institution.. in general fee varies from 25000-40000 per semester branch wise I.e ITE and BME have fee around 40k and other branches have 25k per semester so fees is pretty nominal

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship is offered for category student with good academic history and low income as well as minority students.

Campus Life :

Campus life is great as there are many cultural clubs societies. Sports facilities are good. Although boy to girl ratio is high But there is no specific sexual orientation of mass. SGSITS has vast ethnic, racial and religious diversity but none of that matters in college as everyone treats each other as a friend and fellow gstian

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is good if not great. Rooms are old but spacious with 2-4 students per room. Internet facility is available in all rooms although hostel seats are limited... Nearby PGs rooms flats cost around 2-5 thousand per month for one student. Mess is average but because of being located at the center of the city, there is no shortage of food joints private mess and restaurants

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Almumi network is very strong many passed out gstians help student in placement as well as sponsorships for events. Seniors are very helpful

Exam Structure :

Exam structure vary semester to semester... Sometimes it's hectic and other times is well managed... Few semester that have tough and important subjects have high frequency of labs and classes. Exam time table is also hectic with almost no gap in exams

Admission :

I got admission on the merits of my jee mains ranking via mp state counselling. It's an easy online counselling in which most of the colleges in mp participate. There are generally 3 rounds though no of rounds may change. List of Documents required at time of admission are well mentioned on the portal website

Faculty :

Most of the senior faculties are very well qualified and well educated. Most of them are IIT graduates with over 20 years of experience and have a very deep understanding of subjects and are very much eager to solve any queries a student may have. Special lectures are also arranged if students require extra guidance

LNCT College you should apply or not

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in our college as the highest package grabbed by our senior was 1.15 cr this year through Amazon eu. The percentage of students getting placement are around 80%. My plans are to grab campus placement.

Sum up all learned things to the astonishing work

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite good in Jabalpur Engineering College. Students are eligible and can avail campus placement from their 7th semester onwards. There are some companies i would like to mention , TCS, Reliance Jio, IBM, Wipro, Collabera, TrueChip, Cognizant and some others. Some of them came for mass selection of students with good knowledge of their companies. The highest salary package of companies co.e in JEC are 7-8 LPA. The average salary packages are provided by companies is 3-5 LPA. Chances of getting selected in the campus placement are depends upon the students Strong hold on the subject and their course. So basically the chances of getting selected is around 30-40% . Students usually tend to have many dram after getting selected in campus placement. As per my plan, after getting a degree i will prone to learn new technology and present myself a position where i can give my all conceptual knowledge earned from College period and convert into practical knowledge.

My college

Remarks:

If college will improvise the college placement ratio than that would be very helpful for all the students studying there.

Admission:

I have 60% above percentage in my 12th class so I was eligible to get admission in that college. The college is closer to my home also that's why I opted for that college. They took photocopy of all valid documents and first instalment of fee. they have there own bus facility and hostel as well which is suitable to all.
