Remarks :
The admission to Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology(Pune) is done by the Mht-Cet exam and 5% of seats filled through the management quota. For the Computer Science branch minimum of 97.45 percentile needed. College fees are so high 1,63,000 per annum for a general candidate, for OBC candidate 93,000 per annum, for NT candidate 33,000 per annum, and for Sc/ST candidate 4,000 per annum.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties of Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology are well trained. All are M tech and some are PhD holders from IIT colleges. The faculty and student ratio is 1:20. College conducted 2 exams per semester one is in the semester and the other is the end of the semester.
Internships Opportunities :
College provides internship in 3th year. Some big companies has connectedy with college for internship and many students placed in internship also. College also provide internship outside India mainly in South Korea.
Placement Experience :
VIIT Pune placements held in Vishwakarma Institute of Technology(VIT Pune). Almost 80% of students placed in 2020 during placements. College average package is 6 lakh per annum in 2020 and the highest package is 20.3 lakh per annum in the Computer Science branch. Computer Science average 7 lakh per annum. So placements of Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology is good. In 3rd year students is eligible for internship and in 4th-year students get placements. Big companies like Infosys, TATA Motors placed students every year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees structure of Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology is high. For general candidate 1,63,000 per annum For OBC candidate 93,000 per annum. For NT candidate 33,000 per annum. Campus Life :
The college campus is small and it is a negative point of college. College conducted annual fest called Gandharva every year. And is a very beautiful and big fest of college. All the sports activities allowed by colleges but colleges don't have their own ground. Students play outdoor games like cricket, football, etc nearby the playground. College also provides a library in which all types of books are available and also provide e-books.
Hostel Facilities :
College also has hostel but they are fair from college (approximately 2KM) and fees of hostel is very high 1,20,000 per annum including mess also. In the hostel, both types of rooms are provided AC/Non AC. Due to high fees and fair from college, many students refer PG room near college which is available.
