Remarks :

I don'st have bad remarks, but yes there is always scope for improvement. The college can always en cash the image of the university in the industry. The placement cell needs to be very active and hard working so to accommodate all the student the get the jobs.

Entrance Preview :

The conducted their own common entrance test. I scored 87% I had this as a next option after engineering, as i could not made it to my dream college for engineering so it was the best option i left rather then choice.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum and course structure, methods of examinations, etc was excellent and being a agricultural course it is always research oriented. The course structure was well designed to meat the time availability one students can have and get plenty of time for preparations of the assignment.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes the college had provided the fair chance of internship to us and we got the stipend too for that internship. though for the internship too the interview was being conducted by the company. As the alumni of the college are working in the prestigious organisations, helped a lot in the placement.

Placement Experience :

There is well designed placement cell. having placement co-ordinator, including students and faculty as well. THe placement of our batch was 100%. Companies like Chambal fertilizer, HDFC bank, Max life insurance, took many students. These company student of our course as well as from general Marketing as well.

College Events :

Youth festival, Youth parliament, Annual Sports day, Sports camp, Educational Tour, and regular cultural events activities used to be held in the college. other then that there use to be many culture activities as college level or with other college used to happen.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

At that time it was quite cheaper as compare to other courses like, B.Tech, BCA, BBA etc. I am sure even today it must be cheaper as compared to other courses mentioned above. Moreover being and government institute the fee structure is feasible too.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are many scholarship for the meritorious students who are good in studies and for those students also who are good in studies as well as in sports.

Campus Life :

The campus and the campus life both are equally good. The gender ratio is also 60/40 for M/F. There are events like debate, elocution, speech etc held annually in youth festivals. The activities in sports like sport camps and athletic meet etc also held every year.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel life was excellent, even after being a government accommodation it was very neat and clean. The mess food was traditional and delicious. Best part it was very cheap as well. Facilities like table tennis room, Caramboar, Chess and common TV room etc. were there.

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is recently developed and is working on a very good scale. At our time we were also able to call many companies due to our alumni network only.

Exam Structure :

The exam structure was excellent. Exams used to be 3 times a semester. First hourly, Mid term and final. It was more of fun though hectic in the exam days only. The best part was that the aggregate of the all the three exams each semester was making it the total marks n that particular subject.

Admission :

Where were the first batch of Agribusiness. The course started ion 2004. The admission for the above course was through the test conducted by the university. after that based on marks written test, Group discussion and interview, got admission to the said course. This batch had the common coursework in the first year. and there was some different course based in the major and minor subjects.

Faculty :

The faculty of the college is full of experience from the industry and as well in the teaching. So one the best faculty in the state. Being in the university the faculty from the other departments also took the lecture as a guest or regular faculty.

Admission:

After graduating I wanted to pursue an MBA in a good college, that is when I selected LPU, I had given CAT but could not get a high score. I, however, wrote the LPUNEST exam at LPU, cleared that and was called for an interview, it was a pretty cool one, no tension at all. That was the whole process for my admission.

Placement Experience:

Everyone who has enrolled for the placement gets to take a shot and it almost turns out successful a lot of companies for marketing roles like Asian paints, ITC, and MRF come here for recruiting. We are also offered summer internships by some well-known companies, the placement drive happens for 4-5 months and within this period almost everyone gets placed.
