Remarks :

I did apply for AKTU college but was unable to get a CS branch there. The minimum criterion for admission in PSIT COE is at least 60 percentage in class 12th. I applied in PSIT COE through the UPSEE counseling and was able to get the CS branch in the 3rd round. The admission process was very easily conducted on the counseling day as the college management was very helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose Computer Science Engineering as it was always my field of interest study. There are quite good numbers of faculty. The faculty here are highly qualified and experienced in their field. They are always ready to help the one in need. 2 Class Tests, 3 assignments, and a Pre University exam are conducted per semester by the college. It was not too difficult to pass them.

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 155000 per year

Placement Experience :

The on-campus placements begin from the 6th semester onwards. Many big companies come here for recruitments such as Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and many more. The highest package offered is around 12 LPA and the average package is about 3.5 LPA. About 60%-70% of students get placed here. My plan after getting the degree is to prepare and qualify for the GATE examination.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of the college are a bit high in comparison with other AKTU affiliated colleges. Fees for CS/IT branch is Rs. 1.55 lakhs per year and for Civil, EC and Mechanical branches it is about Rs. 1.3 lakhs per year. There is no fee hike policy, fees remains same throughout four years. Only UP Government scholarship is available for students.

Campus Life :

The annual fest that is conducted in PSIT is IGNITIA in the month of February. It is a really big 3-day event in which many college visits. A celebrity also visits during that time on the DJ night. Also, many tech events and hackathons are organized throughout the year. The college infrastructure is really good. There are two libraries on the campus. Classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned with projectors installed in them. Sports ground, Basketball court, Gym, and NCC is also there for the hostlers.

6 semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements , from last year campus placement of this college is not good at all and declining very much which is not a good thing at all but we hope for good in future.

Placement Experience:

The 6 semester student becomes eligible for the campus placement. TCS , Infosys,zomato , swiggy , cognizant these are the some companies that come for the placements. The highest packege is of 54 lakh while the lowest is of 3 lakh About 92 percent student get placement every year . I'm also looking forward for a better placement opportunity from college after the completion of the degree.

Placements offers in College are not much very good . Average package offered ranges between 3lpa to 6 lpa. The Percentage of Students placed is about 80 to 85 percentage for Computer Science Branch and for other branches it may be low.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 7th semester in Computer Science Engineering. There are many companies who visited our Camplus like Byjus, Capgemini, Amazon, etc. The highest package is 44 LPA from Microsoft and the average package is 6.5 LPA. 90% of Students get placed every year.

Admission:

To get admission in this college,one must have to clear joint entrance exam that is conducted by CBSE in the month of march-april every year.after that this college has own counselling process so students have to go through .

Placement is very good. Since it is very reputed and very old college placement percentage is very good. Here 13 branch are available , leaving 2 or 3 every banch have best placement opportunities. In some branch only teacher effort for internship program.
