Remarks :

Admission in the course that I am pursuing i.e., the BBA program is done on merit-basis. Candidates, who have completed Class 12 from a recognized board, can apply for this program. I had to give KCET to get into the college. Along with it, our final selection is based on the HSC scores and our performance in Personal Interview (PI).

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am pursuing a 3 year BBA degree. My coursework consists of a total of 6 semesters with some predefined credits in each semester. My college follows the guidelines as per UGC and hence exams are basically conducted in the form of semester exams, mid examinations and other internals such as a viva or a seminar. We also have to choose some elective subjects to enhance our skills based on our interest. Discipline specific electives offered in the fifth and the sixth semesters are in the following streams: Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, and Business Analytics. We are required to undertake a micro project during the final semester. The ability to work in teams is also focused upon as a key skill to be developed for success in the work-place. We constantly have guest lectures coming in for seminars and workshop from their domain of expertise.

Internships Opportunities :

In order to make the students industry ready, our college has a dedicated placement cell whose main aim is to foster learning in the students such that we gain some insights of what is actually happening in the industry. Hence our placement cell drives a lot of opportunities related to internships. In my batch batch, along with me 20-30 students got summer internship both paid and unpaid with a stipend ranging from Rs.1000-10000.

Placement Experience :

Many companies visited our campus. The top companies include Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture, Concentrix, HP, KPMG, Infosys, JP Morgan, Target, Dell and many more. The overall placements of our college are fine with an average package of around 4,00,000 to 5,00,000. The highest package was around 8,00,000.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The total fee for the course is around 3,25,000 which is distributed over a period of three years which is evenly covered over a period of 6 semesters. The facilities like campus jobs are not available to us as we are studying in an undergraduate course but various students studying in post graduate degree or doctoral degrees can apply for the same. Scholarships are provided to students studying under SC, ST or OBC categories and we can also apply for a student loan.

Campus Life :

Keeping in view the overall develop of a student various cultural and technical fest take place all throughout the year. Various seminars are being conducted by the college authorities where the alumni is invited to guide the students and to arise the entrepreneurship skills in us. Proper facilitates are made in order to encourage participation of the students in various National and International fests. Many curricular and co-curricular activities are conducted on a regular basis. Various social issues are also being addressed at college level where it is ensured that we actively participate.

Hostel Facilities :

The Hostel accommodation in our college is pretty decent. There are a lot of options available to us. I personally opted for a non Ac room and it costed me around 1,60,000. This included the mess charges as well which is great. Also the rooms charges could be any from 1,25,000 to 1,85,000 depending upon the Ac services and room sharing capabilities.

Admission :

Yes, it is a mandatory policy of the college that the candidate have to undergo an interview session before getting selected in the college. I along with the required examination and my 12th board examination had to appear for an interview. Based on my performance in all the three i.e. the examination, my marks in 12th standard and interview round, I was shortlisted and later selected for the college.

Remarks:

Ranked 14 for BBA by India Today. I was impressed with the curriculum and infrastructure so opted to apply for BBA, I visited the official website and entered the basic details like email-ID and mobile number to register. Admission to this course is subject to a valid score in JET on fulfilment of the set minimum eligibility criteria. The best thing about the course is the exposure you get. I chose this course to explore the business field. Something that made it better by making the course more practical than theoretical.

Placement Experience:

Roles offered here are a sales manager, marketing head and human resource manager in different companies. About 97% of the students were placed from here. The average salary package offered to students is 12 lpa . Companies like Dell, HP, Deloitte and other companies visit here for placements. The university has been a consistent topper for several years on the list of campus placement record among the top private institutions in India. Jain University, Bangalore conducts various training programs for the successful placement of students.

From 5th-semester placement opportunities starts , but they will start the training from 4th semester itseems. We will be having companies like Wipro, ICICI Bank, basically most of the IT sector companies. I think almost 75% to 90% use to get placed in campus placement. Rest they might be trying for higher studies. I myself planning to do my master's in the same college because that much I love my college
