Entrance Preview :

Private exam conducted by college. 130 /200 , I opted this college because I heard good reviews from my friends.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course started with basic introduction to Hotel field. Few months went into that. Then we were made to involve into college food festivals to understand the logistics of the field. That helped us lot to get practical knowledge. Then after first year there was 6 months training in second year. It was very helpful as it was more of practicals. Third year was again full of lectures.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship / 6 moths training happens during second year of the course. It happens either in first 6 months or in other 6 months. It depends on your college. Stipend depends on which hotel you work in. Few good hotels gave INR 3,000 per months whereas other varied from 500 - 1500.

Placement Experience :

Placements interview took place in 2nd half of the final year in Anjuman I Islam. Our recruitment faculties were really good (Ms Harshali) gave us many opportunities. During our year almost 15 hotels with good name came for placements. Approx 80 of the students were selected for various hotel. Many of the hotels offer not more that 15K /month. Its basis structure almost all the hotels follow.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Personally I felt that fees of the course is more. In my time from 2007 -2010 fees was approx 95,000 per year. Also during course you end up spending more 10,000 for various assignments. In third year you have Industrial Visits. For that if you want to go abroad then you have to pay more 10,000 and if not then you go to Shimla Manali tour.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I took education loan for 2nd as well as 3rd year. I took Educational loan from Bank of India. College was not tied up with any bank during my time. But all the necessary documents which were required to fulfill loan facility was provided by college after application.

Campus Life :

Campus life was very strict. But I think that should be there to make you mare polished. Each and Every day our uniform , attire and looks were checked at the gate of our building. Shaving , Polishing your shoes , cutting nails. wearing good and ironed cloths was compulsory. We thought it was silly until we realised it's importance after college days when it was time to get into industry.

Exam Structure :

Exams were on semester basis. If you are in Mumbai university then it use to happen as per Mumbai Universities schedule. And if it was for Allagapa university , we use to get time table from Tamilnadu. Practicals happened before written exam. Time table for practicals was decided by Anjuman I Islam college. Journal submissions used to take place before final exams.

Admission :

Exam was conducted by college in college premises before 2 months. After exams , results were displayed after 1 week. Then interview happened in college. After that final list of students according to merits and 12th std percentage was displayed. Then we were asked to submit academics proofs for standard 10 and standard 12th.

Faculty :

Most of the faculties in Anjuman I Islam Hotel management college was less of practical experience in hotels (except staff in Kitchen). Front office faculty was good. Mr Stephan gave us practical knowledge. Kitchen practical staff was were good as they were having many years of experience. Housekeeping staff was not up to the mark , since the subject itself has nothing more or any new to learn about.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economics is very highly relevant to the field of finance in fact it is one of the most preferred fields, the curriculum is highly specialized in a way to make it accessible in the real world, maybe digging a bit more deeper into quantitative finance would be helpful, the timings of exams are feasible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It department is different in college and as this i love the management of it department. Not only this but there is much scope in it industry ahead. That's the reason to take this course. And as college there is lab for it section and every day there is practice in it lab of various programs and lectures. Teach gives there 100% to teach therw subject effectively. And also there is no chance of getting fail. But if students gets fail then they need to give kT papers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very old and it should be improvised and the faculty members should arrange industrial visit for the students to get them a real time experience. The exams are on Easy level not so hard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bsc cs offers a wide variety in it field. It offers all the required language for a coder such as c programming, python and advance java. Exam timings are ohkk. Teaching should be highly focused on only c aspects or python aspects and most of the teaching should be on computers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Biotechnology curriculum is quite relevant and comprehensive. It balances core subjects like molecular biology, genetics, and bioinformatics with hands-on lab sessions, which influenced my decision to choose this course..... The curriculum prepares students well for both real world applications and further studies, though I feel it could be enhanced with more industry llinked projects or internships. Exams are well spaced and moderately challenging, helping reinforce the material without being overly difficult. However, adding advanced electives and more industry focused workshops could make the program even stronger and more aligned with current biotech trends.
